just a trope where a work chooses to portray people as able to withstand far more damage than plausible. Not because they have SuperToughness but because it just makes for a better story if getting punched through a wall doesn't seriously injure a guy.

Near universal in animated works and most stories with superpowers which are not going from super gritty realism.
