Nippon Ichi (Disgaea, Makai Kingdom, etc.)

Yeah, just picked up Zettai Hero Project. It's awesome. Imagine the dungeon-crawling, level-grinding, item-modification, and comic hilarity/sociopathy of Disgaea. Now imagine that in a game where you only control one character. Yeah.

/me is currently wearing a carrot-on-a-stick for a hat, dual-wielding two spears, and has a tank for legs. These are items off the first two levels, by the way.

Awesome! I really want to get ZHP, it sounds like an amazing game.

Incidentally, does anyone know if Cladun is a good game? It sounds rather interesting as well...

As someone who loves Disgaea, which of Nippon Icchi's other games should I expand to, if the only Sony system I own is a PSP?

Well, there are a few Disgaea titles for the PSP, which if you haven't picked up, you should get. Also, the aforementioned Zettai Hero Project. You can find a few more suggestions on the Games section of the Nippon Ichi Software America site here.

I'm of the opinion that a PSP is, at the moment, the best current-gen console/handheld you can own if you're an Nippon Ichi fan. But yeah, definitely try Zettai Hero Project. Also, in March, Phantom Brave's PSP port is getting released.

Don't forget the second Prinny Can I Really Be The Hero game is coming out next month!

Count me in as a ZHP Unlosing Ranger fan. I just finished the main storyline for the first time. Now I'm working to get the alternate endings and complete the bonus dungeons.

I tried to do the First Mastery Cave and got slaughtered by Flonne. Need to level up more. What I find annoying is that there are so many floors and going trhough it all again is such a pain.

They may not, their recent string of Disgaea ports to the PSP, Phantom Brave on the Wii, and other various rehashes was a contributor to the financial danger they ran into, I feel they won't be doing remakes for a while until they're back in the black.

Also, does anyone here know the english voice cast of Zettai Hero Project, I know that Dangerama is voiced by Patrick Seitz, and I swear that Etranger and Pirohiko are Kyle Hebert and Laura Bailey...

About Cladun. It's part dungen crawler. It's a great game if you want to play something for a quick minute then stop unless you're in a random dungen. About Zettai hero project, I wear thunder drums, with goggles, long sword, iron lance, and tank treads.

I know the V As haven't changed (though I think that the Prinny's is definitely a different VA) but they still sound a little different...

Hm....It sounds like everyone changed, but people are saying no one did...Maybe the voice actors just...forgot what they sounded like?

I kinda recognize the old voices in it, and I'm kind of guessing it's because of the video that they're sounding different, tbh.

Etna's is definitely the same, but the Prinny's VA is probably different.

Europe's only getting it over PSN. No UM Ds at all. Same happened with Zettai Hero Project, Disgaea Infinite, and Cla Dun too, I believe.
