From the looks of the gallery, Paris and Renha have art, it's just not up yet. Can't wait to see that.

Also, there is a wallpaper up in the character popularity poll! The wallpapers are Krom and Gaia, Tiamo and Sariya, Wood and Azure, and Serena and Lucina. The winners of the popularity poll were Krom and Lucina btw.

Oh, and sorry for the double-post, but there's DLC news, too.

Summer of Bonds is another easy map that's mostly for getting conversations, this time between the parent characters. Also, MU can trigger conversations with Krom, Gaia, Sariya, and Tiamo where they where swimsuits.

There was a 3DS-centric Nintendo Direct this morning, where they showed off some English footage, yes. It'll probably be online sometime today.

Despite Gaia's supposed Dark Horse status, he only got 4th, behind Male Rufure and Wood. Huzzah!

Also, I wouldn't be sure of anything on Rufure's name. If I recall, the first Japanese stuff had him by a different name as well (Jace I think?)

Robin's a pretty good name for MU, though, since it's androgynous.

Virion (Viole)'s voice fits him.

Yeah, but the effect slightly negated by making the MU has very manly portrait. If something looks manly, everything it has becomes manly by proxy, including wearing pink and playing with kitten

The way that Wood covers his face makes me think that arm is where his Mark locates. He only says it's on his arm (and shows it to Liz but there's no way we can see it), but no saying about which one. It's like he says "I'm from the Royal Family, bitch!" to some random people without actually saying or showing it blatantly. And for some reason, Azure's face reminds me of Sasuke Uchiha. Maybe it's the smile.

As for the popularity poll, I can actually see it coming. /feg/ were voting for their waifu everyday, after all; and staying there for some time can tell you their taste. Those pretty redheads...

I think they ranked pretty low on the other poll as well. I guess folks in Japan just don't like them.

How manly the portrait is has nothing to do with why an androgynous name is good for MU promotional material.

Future of Despair boss banter. Mostly from chapter 2 because I love my daughter, but it's pretty much the same with chapter 1.

Battle Dialogue:

???: Lord Gimle…I…I am the only one that will never betray you…No matter what shape you take, I will follow you till the very end. So…I will vanquish all who oppose you!!

???: !! You are…!!

MU: What?

???: W-why are you here!? It is dangerous! Please return to the altar at once!

MU: W-what are you talking about…?

???: H-huh!? You aren’t…Lord Gimle…?

MU: I don’t know who you’re mistaking me for but…him and I are most likely different people. I am not from here, just a traveler from another world.

???: Other-…!? Then, you are the other world’s…!? …I can’t believe reinforcements came from there…I have to hurry and tell Lord Gimle…But…

MU: What’s wrong?

???: …Nothing, nothing at all. Though why would you tell me that? I could be your enemy. Carelessly relaying such information to your opponent isn’t a good plan.

MU: True…I can’t see your face either, and honestly I think you’re suspicious. But, I can’t think of you as the enemy…

???: …What kind of logic is that. It makes me think you aren’t a tactician at all.

From this, I think Gimle already jumped through the Gate several times to avoid death like Lavos from Chrono series.

The children planned to have a rendezvous after collecting Fire Emblem's gems to seal Gimle, and it seems that if one doesn't finish the other chapters, the ending will be different. I'm not going to do that, the DLC explicitly says that the timeline is the worst case scenario that the children in our army also caught off-guard from the grimdarkness. Watching them break is just...

Now back to the Summer of Bonds DLC. Imma confused, so those four that got C Gs are the winners from 1st Gen of the poll or no?

And yes, it seems that the C Gs picture the winners from the 1st Gen Popularity Poll.

Is it wrong that I find it super amusing that the reason Mark retreats isn't because Rufure talks sense into him, but because s/he still sees a bit of Rufure in Gimle (and vice versa)? Mark seems to be basically mad in his loyalty to his "parent".

Yeah, Mark seems to have joined Gimle because he/she sees Rufure still. Pretty sad. Maybe the Mark who joins you purposefully erased his/her memories when he went into the main timeline, as I could see him/her wanting to forget that.

I find it weird that Mark and MU can recognize each other even if MU had never been paired off anyone else. Yes MU could have married in this Mark's timeline, but if in your timeline you don't marry, how could MU know who Mark was? Aside from any cheesy explanation.

Probably because since Gimle is in MU's body, he looks exactly like MU? I know Gimle!MU is physically identical to MU in the main game.

Riviera's Japanese voice is ridiculously femimine. Like, ridiculously. Like, I am pretty sure they got a girl to voice him.

Oh, there are voice clips in the art gallery at Fire Emblem World. One in on the voice button (duh), one found by clicking the face, and one found by clicking some other location (it varies from character to character)

Unless you are Callum, then you only get two voice clips.

Where does the localization Riviera come from? I've seen Libera everywhere.

It's the romanization that the Japanese site and such uses. Sorry.

New DLC is out. In addition to the four characters who appear in swimsuits, all Sorcerers have their battle models changed to swimsuits. Huh.

Also, Krom and Tiamo have a conversation in this set.

So the Dark Mages/Sorcerers don't change at all then?

Also, Chrom/Tiamo is cool I guess?

I'll be honest, this DLC set doesn't interest me as much.

Well, Chrom/Tiamo is only one of 71 new conversations. It's just one that I'm happy about.
