It has barely been announced and I am already seeing theories pop up regarding the title. One I see crop up quite a bit is that Yorihime might be present. It seems to have to do with one of the characters in the game's name being the same, as well as the meaning of the name of the deity she is based on alluding to possession.

I still haven't seen one of those 'this character is going to be in the next game' theories come true, so...
And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!Point taken.
Well, sometime gotta be the first eventually.

so basically it looks like the Hisoutensoku to SWR in relation to ULiL
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaI'm kind of hoping for a new character, but it would also be nice if Yuuka will be a main antagonist again. Just not Yorihime.

X4 There was that Koishi prediction before Hopeless Masquerade, if I recall. :P

Everyone thought Sanae was gonna be in HM, but we got literally the least suitable person for a popularity contest instead.
Song of the Sirensouch
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaBut given how quickly this was announced, I'm pretty sure that the PS 4 version has been mostly ready for a while, and they just waited to release it to make the announcement.
Yay, news!
Arright, so we got Kosuzu's Theme now, that was much sooner than anticipated. ...gotta say, as usual, my main man Zansnae put it exactly how I feel:
Indeed Doesn't make me very happy. Gotta listen to it a bit more, see if my opinion improves.
Also: if I understand this correctly, we now have an announcement for "a new Touhou Game" (ABOUT TIME!), but it's a GQ-like Expansion Pac for ULIL? Hmm. Well, ULIL is awesome, so I welcome any new chars that get to shine in it Will give us awesome new art, and attacks, and stuff.
Lets not put too much weight into how severe this incident will be. We thought Lo LK was going to be much bigger than it actually was, after all.
The incident will happen, there'll be some minor changes to Gensokyo, but pretty much everyone will go back to their lives when all's said and done.
to be fair, LoLK could've been a major incident, if Eirin wasn't one of the most intelligent people in the universe
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaAnd Yukari wasn't asleep, and no one wants to bring Flandre out of the mansion, and Shikieiki was worthless, etc.
Non-MIDI version of Bibliophile with a Deciphering Eye
It really REALLY sounds like ZUN mashed the Hopeless Masquerade main theme and Year Round Absorbed Curiosity together. I'll repeat what I said earlier and call it the weakest Supplementary Character Theme yet. Japanese Saga this is not.
i like it
it really fits the only non-combatant in gensokyo
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaWait until she catches you putting an open book face down on a flat surface. Then we'll see how non-combatant she is.

I just imagine the person holding her back by her head while she's constantly trying to swing at them with her arms.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Books are a very effective combat accessory. Just ask Patchy.
Because it doesn't specify which is the before and after, one can have fun interpreting which ones are the reaction.
Murdering time and space. Now on Twitter. One thing that kinda hit me, what if this new game not a tag team game but rather one character is chosen as a primary fighter and the other chosen one acts more like a Stand instead of a tag partner.
Antinomy of Common Flowers? I swear these titles are getting weirder and weirder.
There are many examples of antinomy. A self-contradictory phrase such as "There is no absolute truth" can be considered an antinomy because this statement is suggesting in itself to be an absolute truth, and therefore denies itself any truth in its statement. A paradox such as "this sentence is false" can also be considered to be an antinomy; for the sentence to be true, it must be false, and vice versa.
