• Easiest one to find was Momiji without her ears which makes sense, considering her official depictions only ever depicted ears once and it's in a cameo.
• Reisen with detachable ears is a common joke, surprisingly hard to find earless Reisen without proper tags though.
• Cannot find even one Tewi without those seemingly lethally soft and comfy ears.
• Hatless and Earless Ran is a legendary thing to me at this point.
• Yoshika is and always will be a zombie.

Wasn't the statue erected by the Kappa? I'm guessing they're gonna show up again to justify why the Human Village is immune to typhoons.

Edit: Looking it up, apparently Typhoon gets conflated with the Greek Typhon? I don't think that's necessarily what's going on here though. Typhoon is actually a Japanese word ("taifuu" 台風) that's etymologically related to the same Chinese word that the English typhoon comes from.

Well... I guess she did say it was a foreign youkai, but the way I read it was that it's foreign just because it comes from the southern seas, ie: outside of Gensokyo.

Greek mythology and Japanese mythology isn't too far different. There's the Yamata no Orochi and the Lernaean Hydra, gods birthing gods, gods being huge dicks, and thunder seems to be the strongest element in both mythologies.

Pretty sure Typhon has nothing to do with Typhoons though.

Agreed! It's those bonnets, man. They just look pretty dumb, not a fan (Maribel's got the right idea there in that last pic of FS, she ditched it). And there's quite a lot of chars with them (as one memorable YT video put it "little anime girls with diapers on their heads").

It seems either the typhoon actually does manifest as a youkai in Gensokyo, or there are still phenomena most people mistake for supernatural.
