Oh, thank you. I noticed nou when I was reading the volumes but for some reason I never noticed washi, only on Ten Desires. Maybe I should re-read them.

(Now that I think about it Japanese usually skips pronouns so maybe that's why?)

EDIT: I did notice she uses "dono" as well, now that I think about it. That's pretty "youkai-ish" if you ask me.

...I was about to type "What the balls, why was this so short!?", but thankfully finally remembered that I type that EVERY time, and that FS just IS that short (especially compared to the Five Fairies Extravaganza). Just have to get used to it.

There's some variation. The previous chapter was like 22 pages, while this one was only 16 pages. For comparison, Fairy Extravaganza was 26 pages.

In unrelated news, there's also this thing from the creators of the Sealed History anime:

I dunno if it's a stand-alone music video or a PV for a new work though. Would feel kind of odd to me if they just abandoned the Sealed History framing device.

I don't think so. It's new to me.

I'm thinking that a Dynasty Warriors-esque Touhou game(official or fan-made) would be interesting. Might be complicated by Spell Card rules, though.

Well, depending on who you are facing, kappa, tengu, humans, lunar bunnies, and others could be mooks. And the duels are mostly one-on-one affairs, while Warriors games have 15 people dog pilling one officer.

Though it would be funny if Reimu and Friends just all decided to gang up on Yukari or Cirno.

...That's why the mooks were fairies, who are known for dogpiling on the player character in large swarms.

There could also be a rule where, when you confront another officer, you can challenge them and create a Border of Duel that pushes minions out. It wouldn't be every time, but it would be a tool in your arsenal.

Well, this is interesting. I'm also looking forward to what Mamizou has in store for her story.

Shikigami are artificial spirits creates by their users (the programmer -> program analogy is useful here). But they don't have bodies of their own: in order to do anything they have to possess the body of someone else. Ran Yakumo is the name of the shikigami that Yukari programmed, but we have no idea whose body the fox is. Since we've never seen her when she's not being possessed by Ran.
