Man, this might be the most consistently out-of-her-mind happy and giddy that I've ever seen Kosuzu in a chapter... most of the time, she had cheek blush, too... I began to wonder if she was a bit tipsy ^^ (Actually, when we see Reimu for the first time, she's also blushing and giddy for no real reason... also has Hair Antennae. hmmm) Speakin' of Reimu, she's wearing some kind of undershirt there, right? It's not just her regular breast wrappings, those don't extend that far down. That confused me a bit: her armpits are still exposed, but her belly's not. Is she wearing a "wifebeater"!?
Holy crap, Akyuu is really dedicated to her author persona 
She apparently feels she has to wear that amazing fur-coat-and-gloves-outfit while she's writing ^^ Even if no one except her best friend sees it. That's dedication.

I know that feeling. Being a fan of video games results in a lot of sentences that would sound really odd out of context.
I will also echo the opinion that Akyuu looks very fancy indeed.
This is something I've often wondered about myself. She does indeed have parents, but they've only appeared as an off-panel voice to call for Kosuzu and end scenes. I also wonder how she's been able to hide her dealings with Youkai and Youma Books from them for so long.
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.
So there's an artist on deviantart that makes a lot of Touhou pictures I'm quite fond of. U-Joe depicts them with a wide range of moods and styles.

Her father appeared once, carrying a stack of returned books for Kosuzu to sort through (going out and picking up books from people's houses is an errand that we've also seen Kosuzu do). My impression is that Kosuzu is mostly just the clerk because that's the least important job, and her parents are out doing other things all the time, or just off screen for no particular reason.
