Well now I feel dumb
Song of the SirensHonestly, Seiga would pull off the flapper look incredibly.
Personally, I was quite disappointed it wasn't flapper Seiga.
My heart breaks at your disappointment.
Song of the SirensNooooooo , don't break Pluto! We just met you!
In personal Touhou News: am excited 'cause tomorrow, gonna play HM for the first time! But even, way, better: gonna be at my best friend's, and he's gonna get the First Blind Touhou Experience with it Well, he's already seen some Touhou Stuff, thanks to my elaborate Touhou Introduction E-Mail, and he liked it So, hopefully gonna work out fine!
What I'm looking forward to in HM is that it pretty much won't have most of what made the new Smash Bros unplayable for me (just played it for the first time!) HM is, I think, way slower, the sprites are bigger and not as far zoomed out, there's only two chars, so you don't lose sight of who you are, and the stages don't have bottomless pits. All of those things made Smash Bros hell for me, so here's hoping!
Pluto isn't even a planet.
I like you, so I'll pretend that you didn't say that.
Song of the SirensIt is however planet-like for most reasonable and foreseeable purposes you may have.
Touhou 15 Jacket is out! Let the speculation commence!

She looks like a dragon and considering the final boss of 14.5, I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that it's a Hearn.
Also speculation on my part, but it appears that one of the boss could be Reimu (considering the ofuda and the yin yang orbs) suggesting perhaps that each PC may face off against their counterparts.
Why yes it is!

Oooh, Stage what I assume is 4 looks pretty. Could it finally be the Lunar Capital?
Song of the SirensUsami Sumireko's counterpart to Merryberry? Of course we all know the latter is actually Yakumo Yukari via shenanigans and convolutedness.
Well, we already know that Maribel had ancestors who also, at the very least, had the ability to see borders. I'd be surprised if one of them was a dragon (or any other horned being), though.
On a related note, Twillight Frontier is releasing the OST to U Li L.

Sumireko looks hella stylish.
she looks small without her cape
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaThe final boss of Touhou 15 is an incarnation of the Dragon God
Looks like a person riding a dragon to me, but I'm notoriously bad at interpreting the silhouettes.
The last spellcard screenshot is "One-winged White Heron", in case anyone was wondering.
Edit: Apparently a white heron is an egret? I don't know birdology.

Yeah, silhouette is dragon-y. I lean more to dragon-riding than dragon-girl, but who knows
New stuff shows what appears to be a midboss with dialogue that later becomes a stage boss. Or it's the stage boss and ZUN disabled the name display for the photos. Anyway, I note she fights with yin-yang orbs and doesn't appear to be Reimu

The Game of Life; Sumireko Edition
I also liked this strip starring Mokou and Sumireko, from the same artist.
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.A Shiki Eiki the Yama of Xanadau
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWow, that was a lot of really good pics! Got a few new backgrounds from that.
Also: confirmation(?) that LOLKAT will be coming soon and not be delayed? I hope! The CD-Shadow- and Screenshot-Speculation, however, seems to be as fruitful as it has always been
Also also: sadly only got to play about 20 minutes of HM yesterday, because of bad time management due to 4 hours of Magic beforehand ^^ So we only got to do a few Practice Matches against Easy AI, which barely worked ^^ We sucked pretty bad, because of the completely new Always-Flying-Gameplay messin' us up and our complete ignorance of how to do Special Attacks Maybe some other time...
Special attacks work the same way they do in Smash: direction + Special button (default is C on a keyboard). Some specials change based on where your character is (high or low on the screen), but it depends on the character.
