On a semi-related topic to last week’s episode, anyone getting Fractured But Whole? Reviews are trending...mostly positive.
I'm sure it's funny, but I've already played Stick of Truth, and that was already too expensive for what it was.
I might get it on sale. Or not.
I'll get it eventually, but I'm not in a hurry with the new Assassins Creed on the way.
Optimism is a duty. Those games are vacuous garbage.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Why it was fun.
Well thanks for that.
H.B. WardI enjoyed the Stick of Truth, it was fun. Though the toilet humor gets old fast.
Optimism is a duty.Stick of Truth was fun, and I really like how Fractured but Whole looks. But at the time I can’t get anymore games and have to wait until the Holiday season. Mostly because I am trying to save money for things like school, food and gas, and I am too distracted with Fire Pro Wrestling World to focus on other games.
So no Cuphead for me.

Optimism is a duty. From what I know, the gameplay is going for a Megaman EXE style of plane based combat.

Optimism is a duty.Guys, guys, forget about that stupid game, check out the latest episode, our boys outdid themselves, like holy fuck that was brutal. Everything in this episode, everything, struck right home. It was like DAAAAYUMMMM.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. So, An episode about Drug dealing in the nursing home and how it's the drug companies who are to blame for prescription drug overdose Is better than the new game?
Also, was I the only one who thought Marcus looked like mini Kim-Jong-Un?
"We be we baby!"Was there a joke I was missing on Marcus? I thought everything in the episode was fantastic except for his scenes, which I just didn't get.
I have to agree, this episode was great in a way South Park hasn't been in a long while.
Marcus is great, and it looks like he will be coming back, if that ending is a cliffhanger.
Here is the AV club review.

Optimism is a duty. The episode was indeed good.
Hell that portrayal of nursing homes being like prison was depressingly accurate (my Grandpa was sent to a nursing home before he died).
I feel like the Marcus kid was meant to be a parody off of something. Don’t know what movie or show, but the kid seems like a joke on a character from a detective crime genre work.
It was overall a strong episode so I give it a 9/10.

I just saw the viewer ratings on Wikipedia for US audiences, and it has dipped under a million, apparently for the first time.

Optimism is a duty.I think it's been going on for so long now it's lost some of it's novelty, which happens to all long runners eventually
New theme music also a boxI thought it was a great episode. Poor Chuck E. Cheese.
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541I think Bojack Horseman and Rick And Morty have really shaken things up in the adult animation department. South Park has now actual competition, not garbage like Family Guy and its ilk. So they need to step up their game. This episode was a step in the right direction.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I'm amazed nobody consider shows like Moral Orel and The Venture Bros. as competition to Sou. . . oh wait, popularity. Nevermind.
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133Moral Orel ended years and years ago. And The Venture Bros is, like a lot of Adult Swim shows, very lacking in cohesion, pacing, or, you know, having a point. Even Archer has better narrative momentum. But it's still not competing with SP, R&M, or BH, because it doesn't have an emotional core: it's just "look at these terrible people being terrible to each other and giving you no reason to care". It's on the level of FG and The Simpsons (like, you feel pity for Marge, but after staying with Homer for so long, you kind of decide that her misery is entirely on her).

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I don't think Simpsons has ever been that level of sociopathic that Family Guy is.
Optimism is a duty. No, but nearly all the characters are still horrible, stupid, or a combination of both. Milhouse is the one I hate most viscerally, but Homer himself isn't far behind. Selfish, moronic, and so damn self-satisfied. Dull is the word I was looking for.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
People listen to what’s convenient to access. It’s why local network news is still so influential.
