Yeah, I like the idea of some sort of plot.
An Earthbound-style plot? Sounds good to me!
Oh look, a ghost!I'm fine with a "plot" thing, though I didn't really feel that the previous session was missing a plot in any case. There was the whole shebang with the imps/demons whatever the forces of evil were that had imprisoned that nature goddess and everyone but me was trying to stop it.
You do have a point- even though that was just me trying to shoehorn in an idea, it still worked out..
I'm in, maybe.

If you have a problem with Hokuto then tell it to me!Weeeeeell.. I'll try to make it Earthbound-esque. I might mess up, but at least I can try!

I think I'm missing something important here.
Can we already make actions or not?
I'm neutral about the meme, but she was beautiful.I've gotta come up with some kind of introduction to start this off, but as of now, not exactly! I'll try and get this ball rolling soon so we can actually get to doing stuff!
I hope it's soon!
Oh look, a ghost! The heartbeat of the earth pulses on. It resonates with all beings, but now, with a irregularity. A recent malady, almost like a plague infesting its core- deep within the earth, where regular human or animal could possibly sense its presence, IT sleeps. Only those select few could ever hope to realize this- like neglectful and ignorant peons, no one could ever hope to fend off against the terror that has festered within the world's center for... how long? Its creation even precedes humanity's eventually evolution, like a seed of destruction planted, cultivating essence of its eventual earth. Its influence has only been a disturbance since recent times. Animals become an amalgamation of the arcane, creatures that were never intended to exist- cryptids, whose existence serve as a threat to humanity in these dire times- it seem like only a matter of time before this seed of destruction would unleash itself upon the unknowing inhabitants of the Earth.
However, you don't know any of that. You're just a normal person! At least, you think you are. Recently, you've been feeling.. sorta weird. Every time you walk outside, you can sense some weird disturbance, like the ground is about to throw up under you. You convince yourself that you're just too paranoid, but you know it's something you can feel... enough about that, though. Why don't you introduce yourself?
(this is subject to change, since it's pretty short, but i'm using it as something to create a basis for the start of this- i'll probably make it longer later!)
(I should also mention that this'll probably be in a semi-modern setting, which'll kinda be expanded upon soon!)

So, profiles, basically?
Oh look, a ghost!well, in the last session, we just had people play as themselves, but I don't have any problem with people using special characters!
So are we doing child characters, Earthbound style, or are we able to do anything?
Long live the New Bev.anything is allowed! the setting is currently fairly modern, in a town/city like EB, but there'll be room for magic and the like! My apologies for not exactly having everything ready!

@All: You are all currently who you are supposed to be. Why wouldn't you be? Unless you really feel the need to be someone else, you'll stay that way.
You only just now remember your next course of action- everyone was aware of it, and you were no exception. It was all on the news- signs of these unmistakeable anomalies effecting your cozy little town of Redmont. Sightings of werewolves, chucapbras, creatures that seemed like hellish recreations of real ones. The elements grew intense- the summer breezes diverging into cool autumn winds whipped violently; the ebb and flow the Earth's shores increased in intensity, casting unlucky individuals deep into the mercy of the sea; an overall sense of unease captivated the people of this planet, slowly, but surely.
Not only that, but another event that'd drive all thise conspiracy theorists and apocalypse buffs crazy- right in the center of your town, right under the statue of old Mayor Brimbly, his visage was torn asunder by a massive pillar of some sorts, attracting attention from all around- covered in ancient runes and emitting a low hum. Parents kept their children away from it, teens dared their friends to touch it, many tried to find a reason to explain it, and news casts went out in a mad dash to cover the story of this weird presence first.
You remember that specific program fondly- it's up to you.. but it couldn't hurt to check it out.
@Blizzardeye Wonder: (4) You stroll along the inside of your house. You've lived here for years! How silly would it be if by some chance, you couldn't navigate through your own home? That'd be embarrassing. You idly stroll through the rooms, from your own, down to your living room, over to your kitchen, then back to your room. Splendid!
@Cathari Sarad: (4) Quite the organized person, aren't you? You know this place like the back of your hand, and you're pretty sure you could find those locations easily- for starters, you've got a grocery store/gas station nearby! The others are slightly farther away.
@Black Mage Anolis: (2) Out of all the people who are invested in this current issue... you're a bit clueless. You're just merely uninformed, or maybe you can't grasp the idea of magical beings and cryptids. Maybe you just don't believe in magic.
@Bacon Zorp: (3) After waking up, going back to sleep just feels weird. Your bed in kinda lumpy, and as you lie in bed, you can't help but notice that this pillow feels strange. You sit up once again, deciding it's better to just stay up and get out of this weird funk.
>Fiiiiiiine. Go check out the pillar thing.
>Wait, my name's Philip, not Johnny! What a weird mistake...

Long live the New Bev.> Attempt to acquire a (preferably iron) fire poker from within my own home, and then set out to acquire salt bags and propane from whatever store is relevant.
>Try best to become informed. Head for the large rune-adorned spire where the mayor's statue used to be.
>Also, affirm status as hooman.
>Be Alex
>I start to take a leisurely stroll outside.
“How long has it been? 23 days?”
This plot idea would kinda have an Earthbound-ish feel, almost- there'd be a lot of potential for awesome stuff to happen, and there's room for humor, of course, but the underlying enemy and their influences can lead to some grim-dark stuff. However.... free-range stuff has no restrictions at all. It's up to you guys!
