Argilla: Gets emotions and freaks out because she doesn't want to think she turned into a monster and can't deal with this shit.

Heat: Gets emotions and flips out because he doesn't know why he's so concern with Sera.

Random Blue Haired dude: Looks at Serph and promptly gets pissed off enough to get emotions.

...Serph....you might need to start paying attention to this shit. Seriously.

He got emotions the other day you can expect him to learn it in a day.

We are now introduced to Cielo's (Voice Actor's) bad Jamaican accent.

Also, I noticing that other people in the base are getting more expressive post Mick's attack.

You can see how the world is changing. It's an interesting little detail.

I honestly had a hard time identifying whether his accent was supposed to be Jamaican or Indian, because it sounds like it fluctuates.

It sounds fake but I can't entirely tell if that's a deliberate choice or not.

Well, I don't think the voice actor is even Jamaican, so it's not a shock it sounds fake.

Well he is a reincarnation of a kid from Jamaica and the thing with Reincarnations is that they aren't the same as their previous lives. So him having a fake Jamaican accent can be the result of that.

Been watching more of Digital Devil Saga.

Just watched the battle with Asura Ravana, aka Vairin COLNEL BECK!!!

Having Sera actually run onto the battlefield to use her anti berserking song was a nice little detail. They could have just had her do it from offscreen, but they went a little farther and I like that. Adds some colour to the battle.

Kinda funny too, since I got the impression she was entirely the load in this first game, but a little thing like that goes a long way towards showing the assertiveness that lets her properly join the group in the sequel.

Ign has some gameplay videos of Apocalypse from e3. Spoilers in both.

Finished the first part of DDS.

Haven't been keeping you guys up to date but just saw the part where Heat kills Serph.

Man, even though it's supposed to be such a tragic scene, those scientists flipping their shit when God started fucking up the earth cracked me up. Nothing quite says WE'RE SO SCREWED like someone blindly panicking.

Congratulations Serph. You kept up the tradition of a Shin Megami Tensei hero dying in the sequel. Hell, you went one further and died on-screen. The hero of Shin Megami Tensei I would be proud.

Bascly, from the EGG installation onwards, DDS2 just gets fuckin' insane.

He's the guy who reincarnated into Gale, right? Jenna's old boyfriend?

No no no. He's his own person. His data just reincarnated as Gale.

That's the whole point of Metempsychosis. They are their own people and why Serph had to beat Dark and Light Varna's/Serphs.

It's weird and complicated. I like it but I can also see why so few stories use this kind of idea.

The game does take a lot from Buddhism and H Induism. Mostly H Induism, but that's because it originates from Vedic which is why all the playable ones are Vedic gods.

Why does he even get to show up? I mean, if he gets to be there, why not Heat O'Brian as well.

I can understand why original Argilla isn't there, and original Serph (god yes, I can understand why he's not there) but what the hell is David Gale just doing there randomly popping up like that?

Heat did his duty when he helped Serph beat Serphs. And he's in the EGG while they aren't.

Yes. I know. I played the game. You don't have to go "um, actually..." just because someone doesn't go into the minute specifics of an offhand statement.
