Yep, Shinichiro Miki in both.
Fascinating, then Nocturne and V Lucifer might actually be the same guy.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The Daily Demon videos are coming back, starting tomorrow. Those were really fun.
This also means there’s going to be some 20 extra demons in the game besides the 40 we know. Whether this is dlc, boss only, or them covering the Nahobinos as well.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Some of that number might be V Vanilla's DLC demons since they never got videos IIRC.
That would also exclude Dagda and Konohana Sakuya from VV then.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Maybe, maybe not. Lilith in Vengeance shares her voice actor with Lilith in IV, but I doubt they're meant to be the same demon.
Fun fact for fans of the Pokemon anime: Lucifer in Nocturne and V is voiced by the same guy who voices Kojiro/James of Team Rocket. He's also voiced a number of Pokemon for the anime, most notably Charizard.
Yeah, Zamasu from Dragon Ball super as well, if I’m not mistaken.
Hmmmmmm……I don’t think that Lilith is supposed to be the same as the black samurai but the same voices could fit Lucifer since his 3 self is a multiverse traveller.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Huh, he is Zamasu as well. I'm not a particularly big fan of the Dragon Ball series, but I've heard about Zamasu enough that I have an inkling of who he is; I just never looked up who voiced the guy.
Going back to Miki voicing Lucifer in both Nocturne and V, I don't think it's surefire proof that both games share the same Lucifer, as Zeus and Odin share Japanese voice actors with their Strange Journey and Apocalypse incarnations respectively and I have my doubts they're meant to be the same. Still, I am open to the possibility and will wait to see if Vengeance says anything about that particular matter.
I could have sworn I saw you in the DBZ thread. Ah well.
On the topic of counterparts, I'm very curious as to what Dagda's deal is. In my SMT IVA run, he's supposed to be part of nature, but he's there.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. My current guess is: the Dagda we will get in the Vengeance DLC is the Dagda who got his ass kicked after Apocalypse locked into the Bonds route.
I was looking at a video of the Dagda boss battle in Apocalypse, and his defeat animation is different from most other demons'. I could potentially see the devs using that as a way for Dagda to escape into another universe. The screenshot of Dagda talking to the Nahobino also gives me the impression that it's Old Dagda talking, since his words feel kind of gruffer than what New Dagda sounds like.
I'm waiting to see if my guess is correct or not. Whatever the case, I do hope they get Shūichi Ikeda and Xander Mobus back for him. Both of them were great as Dagda.
EDIT: For those who want to see the new Famitsu scans, this Reddit post has them.
- There are Aogami "corpses" (probably something like broken robot bodies) that you can scavenge to obtain Aogami-exclusive skills.
- Enigma demons seem to be returning in Vengeance, since Amabie is going to be an Enigma demon (and I'm guessing Kinmamon will also be one).
- Mastema is indeed being voiced by Wataru Takagi, and he's a member of Bethel, meaning he might have interactions with Abdiel.

That seems to be changing, Jack Frost has had a consistent English voice actress since Persona 5

Mastema working for Bethel and described as testing humans by tempting them is why I think he'll take Satan's usual role. He might be a law ally again.
Maybe he'll find a human to work as well.

Enigma Amabie.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. It makes me wonder what other Enigma demons we're getting. As I mentioned in my earlier post, it's probably a safe bet that Kinmamon will be an Enigma, since they're usually an Enigma in other games.
Maybe Futotama ends up being another Amatsukami that’s still hanging around?

The website updated. Looks like there’s another new demon Doi made based on the screenshot showing Dazais stats.
Edit: previews on Japanese sites have mentioned the whole major turning point halfway through where Nahobino gets their new form will also involved Amanozako and Mastema.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The Atlus YouTube channel posted a video showcasing what I think are the unique moves from various demons. Some of them we've already seen in the original game, but the video also shows unique moves from Cherub, Moh Shuvuu, and Pellaidh.
The first demon video is up and it’s Nahobiho. Mastemas VA Wataru Takagi is doing them this time.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Hey Omega, got any guesses on Mastema's role in the plot?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.No.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Also one of the previews images on one of the Japanese only sites has Abdiel threatening someone for trying to release something that was sealed by God within Shakan. She’s inside said dungeon when doing so.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I love the idea we get to adventure with the cast more.
I miss Johnathan's and Walter's antics.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. This first of the new daily demon videos, showcasing Nahobiho:
They're narrated by Wataru Takagi/Mastema this time instead of Tomokazu Sugita/Yakumo.
Every Demon getting a unique move is so cool.
And this isn't new, but seeing Artemis's special move there suddenly makes me realize she's one giant Saint Seiya reference.
Yeah because Lucifer technically is a different one in each game even if he's the same person.
Wait, does Lucifer share the same VA in Nocturne and V in JP?
