Aside from the fact that the &^#%#_#%@ leaves won't rake themselves?
Whatever happened to the meetup? I suppose it'd have to be Chicago, but the Twin Cities would rock (and not just 'cause I live here).
Today was one of the warmest days I've seen this Autumn. It was pretty annoying, as the cool weather is one of my favorite things about this season. It didn't help that I was in a minor car accident last night, made especially lame by the fact that it happened while I was trying to celebrate my freaking birthday.

Well that's a sequence of unfortunate events. Hope it wasn't too bad. And yeah, it is a mild autumn right now, especially after that cold start.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war. It's funny that we got awful blizzards and then it's mildly cool now. Well, it's not actually funny, especially to the farmers.
You're looking for this person.I appreciate the sentiments, Zyxzy. Back to the main topic, I'm guessing that one of the biggest things we midwesterners will be able to relate to each other about is the extreme bi-polar nature of our area's weather.
Herbs are still thriving in the garden. And I will have to mow the lawn at least one more time.
Weird as all hell.
I do remember my brother teaching me how to juggle outside on Thanksgiving so it is not all new.
Minnesota. Because we'll be the last state that gets nuked in the end of days.
I live in Chicago's north suburbs, close to the Wisconsin border. Near the Six Flags.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!I always thought the giant spider they put on the roller coaster at Six Flags for Halloween was cool.
Meh, stuff like that loses its appeal once you see it everyday while driving to school.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!From Chicago, going to school in Indiana. Actual Chicago, not the tons and tons of suburban sprawl.
You've lost. You're the Bomb Squad after the bomb's gone off. I'm the blast ongoing.Good job, Neep. :D I'm from Chicago, as opposed to the suburbs, myself. The North Side, specifically. YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
south illinois is only good for corn lol jk
http://www.last.fm/user/BlueGhost60Chicago people could probably meet easily. People from South Dakota, on the other hand... : (
You're looking for this person. The Midwest almost needs to be split into regions because of the miles involved. Or take a year to plan a meet that would enable the maximum number of people to make and pay for travel arrangements. This book has some interesting essays about internet communities meeting IRL.
I am from Indiana, I may move though. Which state is best: Dakota (both), Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, New England (not part of the region but I like that place, plus York too)?
My Hero, Zero!Yeah, it's a lot easier for Chicago people to meet. Granted, I've never actually met anyone online from Chicago. :/
http://www.last.fm/user/BlueGhost60Split the Midwest? North from south, or east from west? Or maybe Dakotas/Minnesota/(Northern) Iowa from Kansas/Nebraska/Missouri/ (Southern) Iowa from Wisconsin/Michigan/Illinois/Indiana/Ohio. That is, Twin Cities, Chicago, and Kansas City?
I believe Zyxzy is from Chicago, Neccy.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."I'm from the suburbs though.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.Depending on what I'm doing this Summer, I might be able to meet with you guys at wherever it is you want to meet. My friends have some huge pre-college road trip planned, and as long as I help pay for the gas, I'm sure they won't mind if I pick one of our stops. Of course, this is assuming that I don't have a job which will prevent me from going on the trip and decide against taking the military up on their offer.
It looks to me like the geographic center is somewhere along the eastern side of Iowa.
Yes, thanks for the observation. I like it here. It has Chicago, the Olympics Summer 2016, but they chose Rio instead...
My Hero, Zero!
Oh, I see. I think Michigan counts...?
Then it's not that late for me. Only 2:26.
