DIU episode 21.
You know what? I blame that damn dog. A lot of trouble could have been avoided if that thing hadn't stolen Shigechi's lunch.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, but then the seriel killer would still be seriel killing.
Fair enough.
I suppose one exploded middle school student is a small price to pay.
But still, that damn dog should burn.
One Strip! One Strip!Consideriing the nature of Araki's world, it's a safe assumption that the dog burned off-screen.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018True.
...Dial it back a little.
Between this and the comments on SC's Pat, you're kinda... extreme.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyAlright. No dog burning.
I mean, I was only half serious.
Can I at least grumble in annoyance at it?
One Strip! One Strip!new chapter of Jojolion is out. :)
other than an offhand confirmation that Tonio exists in this timeline, we get a good look at Ozone Baby. the Stand's appearance looks like a combination of Goo Goo Dolls from Part 6 and The Fool from Part 3, but it's ability is unlike either. based on the effects it has on people and objects in its range, i'd guess that it can alter the atmospheric pressure in a certain area. i'd also guess that area is a give radius around the LEGO house that Joubin buried earlier in the chapter.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I had a dumb idea for a Stand (AKA just a standard idea for a Stand)
Walk A Mile
Power: C, Speed: C, Range: E, Durability: D, Precision: A, Potential: B
You can transform into another person, gaining their memories, personality, body, physicality, and non-Stand powers by wearing a pair of shoes legally owned by them that they have worn. The transformation wears off when you remove the shoes, the shoes are destroyed, or you travel a mile on foot wearing them. The mile in the shoes is cumulative and once you've walked a mile total in these shoes, you transform back and the specific pair of shoes in question stop working for Walk A Mile until those shoes fit the qualifications for someone else. All types of shoes work, except for sandals and flip-flops. Obviously, it doesn't work if you cannot physically fit your feet into the shoes in question.

sounds like something that would fit into one of the Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe stories, even though Rohan hardly ever dealt with enemy Stand users in those stories.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.So apparently not that long ago, Araki released a book called "Manga In Theory and Practice" which is essentially a primer on how to create manga.
It's really quite interesting since I've never seen anything like this before. If I had to say one bad thing about it, is that its advice is a bit too specific towards creating the kind of pulpy battle manga serialized in Shounen Jump. There's a lot on emphasis on characters being virtuous and how characters always need to have positive-oriented developments, which might be true in terms of making manga that's successful to the Shounen Jump audience, but isn't necessarily valid storytelling advice anywhere else, and if anything that attitude kind of contributes to why the characters and stories in these battle manga can often fall flat.
I guess I can't really blame him for that though, because he does acknowledge that this isn't the only way to write (he specifically describes it as "the golden way" and notes films and manga that deviate from the norm and are still successful and well-regarded), and well, he IS a shounen battle manga author so obviously most of his insight is going to pertain to that and the japanese audience specifically.
heh. Evil Did lurking in the background.
But yeah, I guess Jonathon would be like the Joestar family guardian angel.
One Strip! One Strip!I love that it's nice little boy Jotaro, since teenage Jotaro is too cool for this thing.
My various fanfics.Guess the rest of the JoJo's are kids too to avoid him sticking out. It's weird seeing Josuke without his pompadour or Gio back to black hair.
They are all little kids....
They are going to make little kid version of Eyes of Heaven.
One Strip! One Strip! It's been a while but...
DIU 22.
Damn. He was so close huh? Literally just a step away.
How come Reimi left a ghost and Shigeki just went screaming to...well not Hell. He wasn't that bad, but still, he didn't look happy during his trip.
I wonder if people reading back then thought that he'd survive and all. I mean, when you have a hero who can heal any injury (provided it's not his own) it would seemingly get rid of any tension. Still, seeing him explode like that when he was just a few steps away must have been quite a shock.
And his honest reasons for wanting to reach the others; he didn't just want to save his own life, but protect his family. It's pretty easy to grasp that, and I imagine at least a few people felt some sympathy for him for that alone.
One Strip! One Strip! It was a sudden, painful death. Can't really blame the guy for screaming in agony.
And yes. Alas, Poor Scrappy.
... And that's called jazz!Reimi stayed behind because her ghost had unfinished business. Shigechi managed to hand the button over to Josuke before he died, I guess?
It's also worth noting that Reimi wasn't killed by Killer Queen.
I think the most heartbreaking thing about that death scene is the schoolgirls who run away from Shigetchi because he's ugly and dishevelled. It's basically just another kick in the nuts for him.
I actually quite like Shigetchi. Part of it is how creative he tends to be with his stand. He goes up against Josuke and Okayasu at the same time and has them on the ropes thanks to his tricky strategies and manages to give a good accounting of himself against Kira in a multitude of ways.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"On the other hand, he was going to murder them over money, which was pretty excessive.
True, but he at least has the excuse of being a friendless, poor, what, 12-year old?
If the power went to his head I'll give him a break, especially because his initial behaviour was scrupulously harmless compared to a lot of other stand users in the series.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"Also, Josuke and Okuyasu did that to him. They corrupted him with greed. They're bad influences, and that whole episode is entirely their fault.
I wouldn't go that far.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"What's did him in during his brief encounter with Kira was going after the coin. Obviously, knowing this guy was a stand user, letting him make any move was dangerous, so you can't blame him since he knows this guy is not only a serial killer, but a fellow stand user.
Funnily enough, someone like Okuyasu would have likely faired better (although as I understand, he nearly gets killed by Kira later, so I'm probably giving him too much credit) because he could have erased him from existence with the hand (or made more distance between himself and the explosion).
Shigechi isn't as dumb as he looks, but in this case, it worked against him. He was better off just keeping Kira still maybe sending off a Harvest bug to get his buddies.
One Strip! One Strip!
DIU episode 20.
The beautiful story of a boy falling in love with his FUCKING YANDERE STALKER!!!
...Man, this is some crazy shit. But next week we'll get a hand chopping murder instead, but at least people treat him like the hand chopping murderer he is.
One Strip! One Strip!
