If it makes Stardust Crusaders' dub arrive sooner I suppose that it's worth the cost.

it's certainly cheaper than some horror stories i've heard about $80-per-disk prices.

SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...if the Earth could get a Stand, does that mean that there could be a "Stand of the Solar System"?

Just an idea I'm mulling over for now.

well, the entire human race got a shared Stand once, albeit in a different series.

Supposedly, all Jojo fans share the stand "Remote Romance," but it doesn't do much.

(It was from an anniversary expo for Jojo a while back, I think it has an entry in an artbook or something.)

BAH it's going to take another 3 years to finally have an uncensored dub-optional complete set of Stardust Crusaders won't it?

Thinking of Gunmen as Stands makes a lot of sense. Has a stand battle ever ended in a simple bareknuckle slugfest ?

Does every fight Jotaro has count? The slugfests are a wee bit onesided, to be sure.

On the Jojolion chapter, the evil trees Stand looks cool, from what little we've seen of it. And I wonder if the plant appraiser's predictions come from his Stand or just him being weird.

My bets are on him being weird.

Yes. Several times. Especially in Stardust Crusaders. Especially the final battle.

O.K, I have an idea but two questions need to be answered:

1. Humans, even Stand-users, can't touch Stands, right?

2. Stands can only be touched by Stands, correct?

Usually that is the case, but literally every rule about stands has been broken at one point or another.

So what if a normal human was able to touch a Stand?

And what if a human was shot with the Arrow but neither died nor gained a Stand?

Stands can manipulate objects though, up to and including people. Isn't that part of what freaked jotaro out about Star Platinum early on?

Yes, but would a normal human be able to fight back against a Stand? You know, a Stand can punch you but can you punch it, even by accident?

No, it doesn't go both ways except for the rare physical stand like Strengths battleship

Though I think that might be less true in Steel Ball Run, since most of its Stands weren't the "imaginary being standing behind you" type.

The explanation for what happens if you get stabbed with the arrow non-lethally is that it infects you with a disease, and if you survive the disease you get a stand.

I can think of two examples of a stand being damaged without using a stand. Mista shooting Silver Chariot Requiem with his gun, and Gyro hitting Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap with one of his steel balls.

Oooh, forgot one more question:

A Stand doesn't have a soul, right?

My understanding is a Stand is the soul or otherwise represents it. The exception there might be self aware Stands like Anubis or Cheap Trick

That's why I'm asking. A Stand IS a soul but it wouldn't HAVE a soul, right?
