I've always thought that the time-warp aspect of Bites the Dust makes would otherwise be a pretty dangerous ability impractical. Like, imagine if it was just 'everyone who asks Hayato about Kira blows up', without any time shit. That would've killed the entire party with minimal fuss. All the time nonsense does is give Hayato a chance to screw things up for Kira.
Especially since Kira doesn't even remember previous cycles.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."HOOOOOOO BOOOOOOYYY, King Crimson is gonna make you lose it when you see it in action. Literally makes Bt D seem like an elementary school problem in comprehension and execution.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!Well Kira wants to live a peaceful life without interruptions. If people go "hey, trying to talk to this child about a serial killer caused that person to explode. That's suspicious as heck, we should check out this child's family situation" then Kira is out of luck. But if people go "hey, this guy looking for a serial killer exploded for literally no reason. There's no way we can get a lead out of that." then Kira's got it made.

The people who don't see what the party asks Hayato do this?
Like, if the idea is to avoid attention, it's a downright godawful ability, because people exploding for no apparent reason in the middle of a public street is conspicuous as heck. Sure, there's nothing in particular to link it to Kira, but there already wasn't.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."I mean, does anyone retain knowledge of the time loops?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Hayato does. And Kira at least seems to know how many loops it has been if not every detail.
I wonder what they will do for the special Crimson King OP for part 5? I have no idea because I don't know how the fuck that stand works. at least part 6 is easy just speed it up.
Really, its utility is in that, with enough loops, he should be able to destroy all of the people trying to investigate him simultaneously without any real effort or risk of exposure on his behalf.

Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireIt is still fucked up, I can't wait for the beatdown.
King Crimson OP: parts of the OP are erased or cut out.
Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!just start the intro as normal, then Smash Cut to the end of it with no warning. note

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.So, when we get to Part 6, will we still make Jojo Abridged jokes?
I can't wait for the OP to play at 16x speed in Part 6.
As I understand it, the main reason King Crimson was so incomprehensible was in large part due to the sloppy translation of part 5 that most people read.
The re-translation should make it much easier to understand, when they get to it.
Think of it as pressing the skip scene button during a movie you're watching for the first time. Whatever happened during the scene that was skipped is unknown to you and thereby doesn't affect your understanding of the movie.
Then how does that cover the fact that if someone shoots at King Crimson's user, all of a sudden the bullet is in them instead.
Uhh...
Look, a distraction.
that was great. like a Scooby-Doo episode with Jojo characters.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. When did that ever happen?
Nero's last ditch dying attempt to take out Doppio involves Metallica taking over Aerosmith and firing its bullets at him, but Diavolo takes over and erases the time when the bullets would have hit him.
Oh, I didn't remember he took over the plane. I thought that scene was just Narancia attacking. Either way, regardless of who attacked, he just the half-second where the bullets hit his body, so they went straight to Nero. There was no moment where the bullets return to Aerosmith because of King Crinsom..
So wait, what is the point of using Bites the Dust again; is Kira fully aware of what is causing it to activate and cause the timeloops, or does he just know something activated it?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!he doesn't have full knowledge of what activates Bites the Dust; it's sort of a "set it and forget it" kind of ability. but he can deduce what happened based on what he knows.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.He also seems to retain his memories of the time loop, which is an important advantage.
He does not have memories of the time loops. Hence why Hayato was able to catch him off guard with the breaking coffee cup thing, among other moments- he didn't even know for certain that Hayato had gone through multiple loops initially.
It's a complicated ability where a simple one would've been a lot more helpful to Kira's cause. But the superpower lottery's a bitch sometimes I guess.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."
Part 6 got to third base with my mind.
