Married and having a kid at both 25. Not that it's impossible, but man is that young. Then again, this is a shonen manga aimed at preteens/teens.

It's honestly surprising that them and Wendy actually got to fight and win a fight against an opponent in Tartarus. Wendy moreso since she's a healer.

But they do have the opposite problem of Erza and Natsu that the world seems out to make sure they always lose.

Wendy actually has pretty good record.

She did great in the three way fight with Doru Anima, tied her first one on one fight with an opponent that was better at her own element, and then of course, MOTHER FUCKING DRAGON FORCE!!!!!

I think you mean Lucy, who used to get screw quite often, despite winning plenty of fights. I'll never forgive Mashima for how he treated her during the Grand Magic Games.

This does seem to have changed with the latest time skip, and the Star Dresses (even if she just ripping off Erza's thing).

... My only real problem with Wendy's fight... is it suddenly wants me to think that Wendy is this weak and cowardly little girl who has never stood up to anything but NOW SHE CAN! -dramatic haircut that will be undone at the end-

Hell she went with the group to fight Hades... if ever there was an opponent that should have made Wendy wet herself and just freeze in terror it was him.

So the timid little girl finds her wings to soar like a dragon angle doesn't work... cause Wendy's timidness has never been a hindrance

Lucy still gets kinda screwed over even after the timeskip. She couldn't do anything because of that virus magic until Wendy arrives.

I was gonna post the actual dragon force theme, but I ended up watching the clip of Wendy's dragon force transformation instead. I've never seen the episode (been barely watching the anime) but maybe I should.

Speaking of which,this better get some nice OST to compliment it in ep 69.

Wendy is pretty strong in both strength and mind I thought when she went through her mini BSOD during Tartaros she would break down, but she mans up and continues fighting like a real soldier. Hell I would not be surprised if she took on a Spriggan with no backup in this arc.

I think that's just a euphemism. They clearly aren't related, but they are a team, and seem to hang out together all the time.

Episode 244

Wendy and Carla (or Charle) are the focus. I seems like all that sentimental build-up about their friendship was ruined by Doranbolt saving them at the last second, out of nowhere. And that moment was almost making me cry too, believe it or not!
