Can someone remind me why Maleficent gaining access to the data world is a bad thing? Does it affect the real world as well?
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. She’d use it to produce herself an endless army of minions to conquer worlds with.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. And also magic and technology are a very potent combination when they aren't diametrically opposed.
It's been 3000 years…Which makes it even more disappointing that Maleficent got sent by the wayside in III.
"Analay, an original fan character from a 2006 non canon comic. Do not steal!"Well hang on, maybe she'll regain her status as Big Bad in a later game...30 years from now.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.regain implies she ever was the big bad, xehanort was clearly the true big bad from the first game already.
From here on out, whenever a new game comes out, I'll just play through it like any other game with little regard to the story as it's getting harder to keep all the important lore in my brain.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. It's kinda sad for the Disney villains that they only ever amount to pawns.
I mean to be fair all the villains are pawns to Xehanort or rather the Master of Masters now I guess.
I pray the next game’s platinum trophy won’t require me beating the game on the highest difficulty though. Or beating any optional bosses.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.A youtuber asks the question "what if Sora went down for dinner?"

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Speaking of "optional bosses", the only ones I've beaten are Kurt Zisa, the Mysterious Man (aka Xemnas) and the Ice Titan, all in Kingdom Hearts 1.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I think your link is wrong. That, or embedded youtube videos are broken again.
SoundCloudNah you were right the first time. I copied the back half pf the URL by mistake.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I'm in the car crying a little listening to this again
This game and its sequel meant so much to me as a child. I'm lucky enough to look back on it as an adult and still feel those strong feelings towards it.
Like its not revolutionary writing but
- you start kh separates from your friends
- go through heck and back to find them
- get involved in a greater mission to save everyone
- you succeed but in doing so you save one friend, lose another, and get lost yourself
Long before we knew abour Ansem The Man The Chad The Father The Son and The Holy Ghost - this was a smaller story about a kid trying to find and rescue his friends...

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Since the beginning of KH, those three friends have been trying to reunite.
And so far, they're still trying.
Disgusted, but not surprisedKinda sad to say this about the new Hikari but... I'm not really feeling it.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Is it me or is Sora getting more "simpler" in his personality? He feels way too much like a manga shonen protagonist rather than a Disney one.
"Analay, an original fan character from a 2006 non canon comic. Do not steal!"When was he ever supposed to be a Disney protagonist?
Disgusted, but not surprisedI did feel like Sora was kind of "off" in KH3. I think maybe it's that he's a little too happy-go-lucky about everything. Like Sora's has always been an outgoing guy that makes friends easily, but he had moments he could get moody or prickly.
Like in KH1 he wasn't thrilled at first at the idea of having to adventure with Donald and Goofy because they were two strangers we was suddenly thrust into having to be with while searching for his lost friends and had serious fights with Donald early on, they had to slowly warm up to each other over the course of the game. He was also emotionally torn over Riku's betrayal and eventually started getting pretty angry and aggressive with him, ready to cut him off entirely if he kept siding with the villains. CoM's whole plot revolved around the villains using his memories to manipulate him into acting rashly even to the point of fighting with Donald and Goofy. In KH2 he could be quick to brag or pick fights, and he could act pretty callous towards the Nobodies, straight telling them to stop pretending they have hearts and he doesn't care about any of their attempts to gain sympathy.
In KH3 he never has any real conflict with his allies (any fight he has with Donald is even laughed off by Sora and Donald themselves as a joke), he never displays any real negative traits that could get him in trouble or make people get a bad first impression of him, he's the one who's usually presented as giving friendship speeches to Disney characters instead of being the one learning from them, and while he's willing to fight the villains he's always expressing sadness at them doing evil and questioning their motives and trying to redeem them. The only time he somewhat breaks from this is getting enraged at Xehanort killing Kairi, but it's not given much focus since he's almost immediately calmed down by others telling him she's not fully dead yet (in fact everyone else, even Riku, is kind of nonchalant about Kairi seemingly dying). It's like the writers accidentally turned him from a rowdy but ultimately good-natured kid into Keyblade Jesus friend of all living things.
I think that's because he's at the end of his character development into a Messiah Archetype who brings all the other cast together.
Sora and Donald are True Companions now and his original selfish goal of finding people important to him is replaced with greater heroic callings. Sora's negative characteristics were intrinsic to his youth and lack of experience. If Sora was still crashing Gummi Ships because of disagreement with Donald or failing to hold onto the Keyblade, the audience wouldn't feel like Sora had developed at all.
That said, I do think Sora was flanderized in III to be that All-Loving Hero. He can be that with the primary reason being he's matured/grown as a person.
Also Sora pretty much is Keyblade Jesus. He legit died for Riku and Terra's sins.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Sora's stuck cleaning up the messes everyone else made.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI feel like that started at KH 3 D when it's been a while since they written Sora at all and at the same time making Xehanort far to smart for the plot to take seriously.

After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. Let's give it EVERYTHING we've got! It's...PUNISHMENT TIME
Wasn’t the point of those particular to be evidence that the Data Twilight Town exists in the first place?
Oh God! Natural light!
