Pretty sure it hasn't been new this whole year...
A few months at least.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI am pretty sure it was not like this last week.
"You are never taller then when standing up for yourself"Oh yeah, it's been given a makeover in the prevailing style of the year, turning the color scheme a bit pastel in the process.
Fresh-eyed movie blogClaire wasn't wrong because she tried to annoy Clinton into doing something. She was wrong because she tried to manipulate him into a situation without telling him. Now, she's being honest. It is an improvement.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Glad you guys mentioned it. Most of the time I can't handle websites changing their layout and such, but Questionable Content hasn't even been changing its shape much, nor does it need to.
Seriously, I think QC has one of the very few sites on the web that could change very little between 2004 and now and get away with it. It's a really simple website and doesn't need to enter the "Who can make their website more ugly the most" competition. Of course, this time the website changed, it actually looks ominous. Like it's about to drop the fucking navigation bar on your head while you try to read, or spawn a shocking pop up window. I can't quite explain it, but something went wrong this time.
H.B. WardI actually need to disagree with you about QC not needing a redesign; I've been reading since the mid-600s and I've noticed that about half of the redesigns have been accompanied by a change in the format for the comic itself (generally towards wider panels). The comic would've outgrown the original layout years ago without the redesigns, y'know?
deviantArt | Twitteri belive the point that pyrarson was trying to make there is that the layout was fine, even if the design changed.
it would make sense to shift things a little as strips became bigger and wider and the like, but i agree that the site layout up to now was acceptable and decent.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]This is pretty sweet, actually.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Lady and dude in the top right are way too specifically drawn not to be a cameo of some sort.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.As per the rant, Jeph likes drawing his friends in the background from time to time.
Cookie to me.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Cookie for not noticing the explanation in plain sight? :P
I have very bad myopia, which clearly prevents me from reading the rant.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I guess Brun's getting a bit better, but no time soon am I forgiving that bullshit diction from her first appearance. Still worried Jeph's gonna use her to represent autism in a frustratingly bad manner too...
H.B. WardDid you mean to say "diction"? Or are you referring to her threatening Clinton with the harpoon?
In a dead universe it was a shotgun.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI still hold a grudge against Brun for being unnecessarily bitchy to Clinton in their very first interaction. The whole, "This is a bar. We serve beer and alcohol." Regardless of the fact that she's clearly neuro-atypical, she was out of line. So I still have a grudge about that.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Huh.
I can barely remember that.
I think the hand wave of "Brun mistakenly clocked this brooding white dude no one seen before as trouble" is sufficient.
Also I thought Claire primary character flaw is that she's a massive dork, who (like her brother) can't separate her job from her passion.
I think not seeing Claire at the library for so long has made that flaw redundant now, so the manipulation stuff was well timed. But she did seem like ass to work with for a short time after her introduction.
How is being a dork a flaw? Also, why is loving what you do for a living a flaw?
She seemed like, a bit of an ass to work with? I'd argue she was too emotionally invested in the library, causing her to have her heart on her sleave during her occupation? Perhaps flaw isn't the right word, but it was a trait which made her engaging
I'm not sure her having a lack of flaw is that much of an issue at the moment given that her and Martin are acting as supporting characters at this point anyway.
Furthermore their healthy relationship sort of executes the climax of Martin's on going character arc? He's now mature enough to Co-inhabit a relationship with someone, even though that someone was introduced with enough indication that they could be high maintenance.
Watching them get together and do so well was really satisfying, I'm happy for these two characters to coast on that victory for a bit
Am I the only one who is fucking freaked out by the new sight layout?
