Holy crap I beat the game!
No, unfortunately it was not a successful Yama run, I'm not quite there yet. BUT, as you know there is an achievement for killing Olmec without using a shortcut, and I managed to pull off just that! I even finished it with 10 hearts left. My one failure was forgetting to bring a pot to the end, apparently you get a special bonus from doing that.

Well shit. That's very interesting but I only hope they won't make it so inconvenient to unstick the grabby bastard's hands from walls. That's not even difficulty, in practice down + jump turned out to just be shitty controls.

I'm guessing what actually happened was you clipped into the wall somehow while picking it up? Which is weird, I thought picking things up moved the item onto you.
