Xmas haul!

• Pretty white dress (took some pics in it with a white flower crown and one of my friends said I look like a goddess ^_^)

• Cat calendar for 2024
• A cute headband with butterflies printed on it
• And best of all... a laptop that isn't pure garbage.

Got $300 in cheques, $75 for Amazon, fruit gummies, caramel popcorn, and a new pair of socks.

Bought myself two World War II related books, both for personal education and for my ongoing historical webnovel:

• Berlin: The Downfall 1945 by Antony Beevor
• Six Months in 1945: FDR, Stalin, Churchill, and Truman—from World War to Cold War, by Michael Dobbs

I guess that's the Christmas gift for me.

Chrimbo haul part 1:

• Switch games: Bayonetta 2, Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Metroid Dread, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder
• PS 4 games: Capcom Fighting Collection and Indivisible
• Movies: Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, and Tales from Earthsea.

A bunch of gift cards (I'm hard to shop for, my family doesn't know my interests that well) and an Amazon Fire Tablet. I've wanted a tablet for awhile, so that's a nice get.

I don't get physical presents that often but my grandpa gave me an old Little Green Book

The rest of the Christmas haul will come later due to something out of my sister's control. For now, my haul consists of gift cards, some jeans, and a very fluffy robe.

Bought a cast iron skillet for cooking. It was expensive but I got it at 30% off (I saved $60 CAD.)

I recently had a Japanese store haul and these are the items I got:

• Some Gashapon prizes (Hypnosis Mic pins, a popcorn keychain and mini pouch based on a Japanese snack)
• Volumes 1 and 2 of the My Happy Marriage manga.

I got the first 11 issues of Chainsaw Man for $100 CAD but it doesn't arrive until Sunday. You guys better not be lying to me.

Well, can we lie to you now? Denji doesn't like boobs.

What? Really? People told me Denji buys ecchi manga to read and eat.

I'm going into this completely blind otherwise.

Bought a new space heater. I kind of wish I had gotten a wider one, but otherwise it works well.

It does have an oscillator mode, though.

Flip Flappers on blu-ray, Japanese for Busy people, Mao volume 1, My Brother’s Husband, and the first 11 volumes of Chainsaw Man.

I have a lot of reading to do. Depending if I like them, I’ll continue Mao and Chainsaw Man.

Anatomy of Fascism by Robert Paxton. The third book in the series of my research into fascism, following The Origins of the Second World War and How Fascism Works.

I got Zhen Hun today. Funnily enough, I just remembered Fulgr Ovid talking about it and having a dedicated livestream of reading at least part of it. So I can't wait to read it, since I've been getting back into reading books as par for my new years resolution.
