^^ I've heard bad things about the health system for veterans, although I have no personal experience with it.

That's effectively happening to my dad, essentially. Well, he has cancer, and has low grade tooth infections for years now-and infections in rare cases have been known to casue cancer. So yeah.

HMSA, a Hawai'i-based insurance agency posted a loss last quarter. They had a loss the quarter before that. Kaiser, the other one we have here, had a modest 3-million-something profit in the last quarter.

Must be a those idiots on the Mainland making all the money or something - I often feel like I'm living in a foreign country here.
