Yeah, too much fire in the front. Not bad, but not perfect.

I think it's acceptable. There's noise, but the focus is still pretty squarely on the two guys.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

It's acceptable. It's just not great. I think we can do better, but I wouldn't be opposed to it if we can't.

Is the manga version any better?

Worse. The lack of color makes it harder to distinguish them from the other stuff.

[up] That's a good thing. If they're siblings they aren't this trope. That said, they don't have the right dynamic between them. They aren't protecting each other or working together.

Given that's it's not about actual relatives, it's not really an example. Well, it's still arguably an example, since they're not actually related by blood, but the pictured characters are adoptive brothers in that One Piece pic, in any case.

[up]I would have to disagree, considering the examples in the trope aren't related by blood, Luffy and Ace work perfectly. Yes Ace was adopted into the family-but him and Luffy are definitely "Brother's in Arms" type of thing. Ace was never officially adopted into the family. Otherwise he'd be named "Monkey D. Ace". Ace was more or less RAISED by an old aquaintence of Garp's, as a grandson of Garp...Luffy and Ace didn't even meet each other until Luffy was 7-8ish. And even then. They fit very well, specially if you throw in Sabo into the mix.

Luffy and Ace didn't have to see each other as brothers...they just did.

This is Mimi-don't let her cuteness fool you-she's got spunk.

Yeah, I think the Luffy/Ace pic would be good for Bash Brothers while Mario and Luigi work for Sibling Team.

Since there's a new thread for Bash Brothers, I'm going to ask for a lock on this thread. Suggestions in this thread for Bash Brothers should go in the new thread if they aren't there already.
