Now, with Modern Warfare 3 coming out does IW have any way to attack Activision? I mean it was a scumbag move to start on the game when the issue of the rights was still in court. Some judges might consider that contempt.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Sorry to dig up old thread, but...Activision settle with EA out of court and there's apparently evidence that Activision might have been trying to get rid of Jason and Vince even before MW2...
Note: Activision only settle with EA, not Jason and Vince...

Give me cute or give me...something?I'm wondering who exactly came out winning with that out-of-court agreement. Did Activision conceed due to their lawyers realizing that they were in the wrong? Or did Infinity Ward buckle and just go for the best possible offer? At least the IW team are finally getting their paychecks for their work on MW 2.
I remember reading in an issue of Game Pro once that in said in addition to receiving the royalties from MW 2, Activision had also promised to give IW the rights to the Co D series then shafted them when MW 2 took off.
Then again I may have read it wrong or it could be mistaken...
