Now will Illidan remember 'Shear' for old times sake...
Also I demand that Johnny Awesome be in every raid as a raider. He must ninja the warglaves from Illidan, cause all loot is hunter loot, so there is a canon reason why Illidan doesn't have his glaves right now.
For Alliance raids he is wearing a flimsy night elf mask.

That would be hilarious, but I think Blizz won't go quite that far. We should all transmog to BC PvP and/or heirloom gear while doing the raid, just to keep up the memes.
I'll bet anything that Blizz won't implement any sort of portaling mechanic to make the BT runbacks any faster... well, other than that NPC at the door who can let you bypass the entrance.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That NPC required rep to port so they will likely remove that. But it is likely they will do a spawn at checkpoint things if this is going to be a serious thing.
I do really wanna know where the canon Warglaves of Azzanoth are though, Illidan does not have them he is using some fiery glaves that look like a reskin of the DH artifact. and this is the perfect opportunity.

I wonder if the Warglaives will still drop in the TW version of the raid. That might motivate quite a few people to attempt it, although you can still go in the non-TW version now if you want to farm them. Realistically, that's way easier than trying to find 40 people to run the place.
Do you think Blizz will rescale it to 25 players? If not... hoo boy. Not looking forward to those Raid Finder matchmaking groups.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Uhh TBC raids were never 40 man, just 10 and 25 man raids. BT was 25.
Vanilla was the only era with the 40 and 20 man raids.

Playing the Broken Shore scenario makes me wonder: how do these people at opposite ends of a battlefield hear each other talk? Are there loudspeakers on those ships?
I've gotten two hidden appearances on my rogue, and have one half of the Talismans of Binding for the last, which quite surprised me. They came quite quickly once I finished the class campaign and gathered some artifact knowledge. I also like the changes to the honor system, I might actually make it to the end. Seems like the Alliance will keep the enlistment bonus for the long term.
Yes, the Unholy, Balance and Affliction quests are kind of lame, and can't be fully reconciled. Shadow, Arms and Holy Paladin seem to have happened at different times, Arcane and Discipline could be assumed to have met up on the way, but those three have different ending with the same NPC.
Does anyone know if having both a Pvp and Timewalking event in one week is a permanent change?
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years. If they do drop for the TW version, they had better be available for transmog.
This song needs more love.It will be odd with T6 and T20 both dropping in current content since one is just an updated version of the other.
Sorry, I misread it. ^_^;;
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.Another lore question: if the Burning Legion and the Void Lords are on opposite sides of Evil Versus Oblivion, why are Voidwalkers and other void-based creatures part of the Legion's arsenal?

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Same reason why we have Shadow Priests, Warlocks, Demon Hunters and Death Knights. Cause we can controll it (most of the time) and Fight Fire with Fire .
Now there's a thought, a Fel Faceless One.
Well, one of Hellfire Citadel's boss was a void creature overfed with fel energy.
On second thought, are voidwalkers part of the Legion's ranks? I don't remember seeing one ingame instance that featured them as soldiers in the Legion. Warlocks being able to summon them is probably something different, since they dabble in both fel and shadow magic, it would make sense if they don't just summon demons.
Gul'dan summoned and twisted that void lord in hellfire according to the journal.
My understanding was always that voidwalkers are not demons (gameplay aside) but beings with the mind of an automaton who exist in the void. They are fairly easy to summon and obey orders without question (whereas a demon must be enslaved by magic, threatened, or offered something in return). Hence the Legion has no problem using them, they are another resource at its disposal. The Void Lords are a different class of being.
By this logic, I suppose priests should be summoning them, but then it's warlocks who are conditioned to keep a minion up indefinitely. You could suppose the voidwalker must feed off it's master's vital force to stay in the material world, and only a warlocks with their blood magic and life draining can keep that up for long.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Thinking it's mainly a Continuity Snarl. Pretty certain voidwalkers were in Warcraft III and they were just "demons". Warlocks got them in Wo W and they've always been the one pet that didn't fit in with the rest, Now over a decade later there is a definite different between the void/shadow and the fel but warlocks still summon a big shadow/void "demon" because it's part of the class.
The Anduin questline is now active. If you have an Alliance character at the Broken shore you can start it by searching the waters just east of Deliverance Point where all the wrecked ships are at. It will be marked with an exclamation point on the minimap.
After you speak to Anduin for the first time, there will be a delay before you can complete the rest of the quest chain. I think it's after the next daily reset, but I'm not certain. It's definitely less then a day from what I've read.
Ooh, neat. I'll have to do that when I get home from work.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"And as usual horde gets shafted
Cry more, Hordie. For the Alliance!
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"While I don't know what the questline entails, didn't the Horde get more story focus initially with like two extra cinematics for Sylvanas to take control and Vol'jin's funeral? This sounds like a similar thing just for the Alliance.
This song needs more love. That's also a fair point. Story-wise, the Alliance has had jack all since the Broken Shore, with the one exception of Genn fighting Sylvanas in Stormheim (a scene that Horde also get to see). So I think we can call this one even.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Now that I got to see.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. Not really, a horde character is completely uninvolved with the questline and the cutscenes just come out of nowhere. It was pretty much an afterthought that they were even included.
It's been all alliance all the time everywhere else too, horde characters are basically extras in Val and the Druid hall to the point where there isn't even a horde bodyguard. And they have seemingly completely dropped Baine's potential plotline in High mountain, voice lines exist if you click on Baine when he appears standing around in events in Legion, which would have worked as a counterpart to Anduin's line.

I'm actually particularity excited about Black Temple because a friend I play wow with only got into the game last year so hasn't played must of the I'm between stuff (his higher characters are the results of boosts or picking demon hunter). I came in at the tail end of BC myself, so this'll be cool for both of us.
