That video is amazing. It's a great study in how to show the creation of a villain yet still leave them without sympathetic traits.

I don't know, I actually felt some sympathy for Gul'dan there.

A little. But then he killed his mentor and I figured... yeah, not happening. But let's note that the elements themselves rejected him... clearly they knew something was up.

Or the elements are just jerks. Wouldn't surprise me, given the personality of some elementals (Ragnaros for example).

@18923 the EU inflation is because the region is joined with the Russian region and due to removal of russian discount (previously existing to compensate for shit economical situation here) coming with that, the tokens are a very tempting source of game time for a big portion of the population.

The Elemental Lords from Azeroth can be jerks. The Elemental Furies from Draenor seem pretty chill in comparison(as long as stuff is in balance).

Doing Timewalking is a lot harder now that the old set bonuses are disabled. Though I did notice that when Dragonwrath procs on Starsurge, it also grants empowerment.

The old set boni being disabled saddens me, for soloing with a hunter the T5 2-piece bonus (15% dmg done as healing for the pet) was a great option.

My Feral and Shadow feel like wet tissues. My Feral lost 15% damage reduction, Shadow lost sustain from Plague. Disc feels interesting! Need more time... so many things to manage and review...

Masochism helps with the issue of shadow healing.

Re: the Anduin comic, I love how much he looks like Varian here.

Also, great way to intersperse scenes with the lines from Varian's last letter.

And one line was just kind of awesome:

"The Wolf is no more. I am the Light that remains. And I will finish this! "

Not quite. Plague was instant burst damage + burst healing. Shadow mend isn't any of those things. But, it just needs getting used to.

... Did they just retcon all of Gul'dan's backstory right there?

What happened to him having been a Shaman, and Ner'Zhul's apprentice?

This might be Warlords Gul'dan's backstory.

But the point of divergence in Warlords is after this.

Warlord's diversion was decades before Garrosh appeared, many characters have led very different lives.

Well, read the Anduin comic...spoilers, we win in Legion.

Also, guess we won't be invading Argus anytime soon, at least without like a forty-year time skip. Unless we don't drive back the Legion and they mange to entrench themselves for decades...

That's implying invading Argus would topple the Legion. All it would really do is either outright kill (if Argus is destroyed) or 'mortalize' the Eredar (if Argus is reclaimed by the Draenei.)

Sure, it's gonna be a huge setback - maybe the biggest defeat the Legion has suffered in its history, since Sargeras can't control the Legion on his own, and it'll take him time to rethink his strategy. But that doesn't mean the Legion will just collapse overnight. It's a universe-spanning army from beyond time and space. One world isn't going to make them fall.

Maybe azeroth fell and Anduin with Velen used Exodar to flee?

Playing more Priest. I like the new Shadow. Once I got used to new spells and the ramp-up/burst cycle, it got more interesting. I'm paying too much atention to my spellbars and not my surroundings...

I like Disc for soloing and farming. A bit too slow, but no downtime. Haven't tried healing with Discs. I wish there was a talent that made a permanent atonement on myself. I forget to put it up all the time.

Damn. I just read through all the comics. That's some heavy shit. And now I really wonder about Anduin and what kind of power he's going to wield.

I'm warming up to the new Retri. I just Solo-ed the Saberstalker weekly quest with Justiciars Vengeance

I tried out my chars during the weekend. The mini-game of just fitting my new abilities on bars kept me going a good while. One thing I noticed is that I have a threshold of about 16 that I can fit on my keybinds with ease; some specs fall short, some still go beyond. It can be frustrating fitting abilities on all 3 specs to the same layout (I try to keep some consistency in what each button does, such as <r> for interrupts). I'm still using macros, mostly to combine healing and damage on the same keys. And this is without artifacts or honour talents. So I don't see the prune as going too far.

Only played Death Knight much, and I can say Blood is more responsive and Frost is more engaging. Talents are much improved, though those of rogues could go further in giving different playstyles.

However the new mêlée animations are great.

And it's lovely to see the forums full of reasoned, civil discussions about the changes.

So I heard from various article editing that somehow, they seem to be planning on Character Rerailment on Tyrande...

I wouldn't be so quick to trust it, after years of getting my expectation yanked. But what about you guys?

Guldan's Video just makes me imagine him smoking cigar at a bar telling his fellows that 'Ain't Nobody heard of the village of my birth'

Not to disrespect Jim, but that's an Unusual choice for a villain known for being a menacing warlock of dark power.
