A Legion Artifact calculator has been released. It doesn't have the data for every artifact yet, and is not entirely accurate yet (for balance druids there are two separate abilities that have the exact same tooltip).

It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesProbably enough to max out everything leading to one top ability plus a little more to spread around.
Frost Death Knights have some nice abilities man.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Evocation becoming an area-of-effect nuke depending on how much mana Evocation gives you back?
UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAAH.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. The main avenue for progression for your artifact weapon will be completing dungeon and raid encounters, so in theory you will be able to max it out.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"All of the abilities for everyone? Huh. That sounds kinda crazy.
I do not mind it tho since the majority of the abilities there are passive and they are just fancy talents anyways. Just gunna wait until the lists of the highest DPS picks and call it a day :P
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesLFM For normal shit raid, Maxed artifacts only.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.BM gets a permanent second pet oO *gushes*
In fact I sorta prefer the "everyone gets everything" over the "Ok now you need to switch to your artifact that is specialized in Ao E"...and "Gimme a moment to respec my artifacts"...
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesArtifacts are a bit like old school talent trees. Since you can only spec into one artifact at a time, there's no reason you can not take everything.
That is unless some class is a special snowflake and has major talents that are mutually exclusive.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. My question, then, is, why bother with the talent trees and not just put them there? Why gate them? I understand gating talents while leveling, but raids already have the gate of gear. Sorta feels like this gating artifact talents thing is kinda coutnerproductive to the way they wanted to handle Pv P, which was not gate it so much by gear anymore....
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesYeah but getting the pvp talents is not that complicated, I hear. And that is fine. Some training and some practice before everything is great. And many of the Pv P talents are passive anyways.
But gating the artifacts so much is going to do exactly what the Pvp gear used to do and why they moved away from it: create a huge gap between newcomrs and older player
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesI suspect blizzard is trying to put long steps between reaching 110 and maxed out in pvp and raiding gear just so they don't have a repeat of Warlords "404 Content not Found" issues.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. This exactly. Blizzard wants a long, but concrete progression path so that people don't run out of content three weeks into the expansion.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"well, I am fine with it myself since I know I will be playing and advancing, but agian it just raised from me the question of if it is not re-labelling the problem they wanted to avoid i n the first place.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesProgression progression progression. MM Os are all about advancing your character in various ways, World Of Warcraft lost much of that in the last xpac however with these talents and gaining them from completing dungeons raids and zones gives you things to do to advance your character. I LOVE it.
Also in pvp both sets of talents will be active, pvp talents are 1 of 3 choices like normal talents too.
LFM For Random Heroic, Please show maxed artifact and at least three legendaries
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Alternatively show full Mythic quality gear and the achievement for beating this heroic.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.I remember when dungeons used to be fun when I was playing World Of Warcraft. We'd splatter the bosses, or they'd splatter us, and a good time was had by all. Then everybody started taking it way too seriously.
You have quite the rose-tinted view of the past. I do recall when groups could spend three or four hours inside Blackrock Depths, sometimes having to go repair. I can't imagine that I would willingly go back to that time.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I have that feeling but I don't consider it rose tinted: I just had a different attitude.
Having a couple friends and just chilling in Scholomance basement while waiting for the paladin's mount quest (yes it was WOTLK we were doing it for giggles) to reset or screwing around in Stratholme was fun. Exploring everything while fucking up was fun.
But I no longer want that kind of fun from games. Not just WOW specifically, I tried invoking it in different games and it failed.
Why it's considered "better" is that because grinding dungeons in a maximum efficiency matter is just hollow. It's a grind. You go in, you quickly kill things, you go out, you do it with strangers, there's just no feeling whatsoever.

Forgot to add, outside of the Gnome hunter's starting pet, all other Mechanical pets are puzzle tames.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
