Heh.
Interesting the writer decided to skip the whole Samus Is a Girl thing and just tell us Astrid is female.
I don't read this comic, so my guess was that Astrid was a previously introduced character, whose femaleness had already been dramatically revealed a few real-world months ago.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."No. Astrid hasnt been around more than a couple of weeks. Thats the first time we see her name, I think, though "allcovering helmet and gear that does not show the body's shape" = "meant to be a woman, which is meant to be a surprise". We have, however, learnt that she is, on her own, a threat to all dragonkind, on the "lets hide until she is gone"-level.
Actually the way the body shape is drawn did kind of give it away a bit. I had this as a subconscious guess from the start.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Anyway, the immediately preceding page was a dead givaway.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Is it a lost glory in webcomics?Did I missed something really awesome? How sad on my part!
A Webcomic Lover..!That part of the comic got somewhat funnier with the release of Skyrim.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for you
Yeah, he is just a guest star-cum-injoke, but it is fun to see him and Eddie drawn that way.◊
Erik, though I'd made him fatter
