Wait, they confirmed it's a new summer? Wonder what that means for the B-plot considering Doof's moved on from evil.
Also yeah, it would be nice to get a continuation of the Monty/Vanessa relationship since their dads never found out about it. Though once again, Doof resigning from evil means it's not gonna have quite the same impact, either.
Granted, I think they also confirmed we're getting more episodes with the kids as teens as well. Don't know if that means in the same summer as AYA or during their high school years, though.

"Let’s see who’s stronger: someone that has something to protect, or someone that has nothing to lose."Plus, they can get together as teens and then not actually stay together as adults, which was my personal headcanon. It's not like Vanessa comes up in "Quantum Boogaloo" which is further in the future.
But I think Ferb/Vanessa is more popular with the fandom so I assume they'll keep it there. Even if I wish they wouldn't.
On the bright side, maybe they'll take the opportunity to make the Ho Yay with Baljeet and Buford explicit?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. What if the Ferb/Vanessa ship gets sunk in favor of shipping Ferb with Lola Sundergard, a one-off character from Milo Murphy's Law?
It’d be difficult for anything in the new seasons to affect the Ferb/Vanessa ship short of a time skip to even later than Act Your Age, which given that the cast will be spread out for college, would likely skip over college entirely and go right into their careers so they can all be in the same place again.
SoundCloudNow this is a live action villain origin story adaptation of an animated franchise I'd watch!

I mean, Ferb and Vanessa getting together as adults means they're never gonna do it in the main series. We'll probably get Vanessa/Monty content.
