[up][up]Yeah, it's a toggle in the definitive edition you can use. Good thing too, because I heard they nerfed Round Trip and Demon Dodge, which were my main tools against those things.

Well, I just bought DMC: Devil May Cry a couple of days ago. I can't wait to play it and see if it's worth all the attention. I didn't grow up with the Devil May Cry series. I was more into God of War.

The game is good if it is your first game or you pretend the game is called "demonic being has the possibility of making water flow from his eyes" and call Dante, Mundus and Vergil Donte, Donald Trump, and Virgil.

[up] (2) Just enjoy the game for what it is and maybe don't post about it until you finish it or if something seems odd. 70 percent of the fanbase is extremely jaded towards it.

I grew up with God of War too but had the pleasure to play Devil May Cry 3 and immediately refuse to play it again because most of the enemies were completely unfair. If you like God of War just imagine a game where the game grades you on how cool you look when you fight, and every enemy is a Satyr. Have fun.

A little off topic, but I always felt 3's difficulty was overstated.

I don't think the European version was toned down. At least the sources I asked.

Anyway, I hope the new guy gets enjoyment out of the game.

I did.

Well... I suppose it's more complicated than that...

So, I managed to finish the first two levels in the game. I really like the combat and I think the story isn't bad so far. I'll play some more in order to have a more concrete opinion.

I managed to beat Bob Barbas this morning. I died a couple of times but it was satisfying to watch him die. Overall, I'm liking the game. I feel like it can be frustrating at times but I like the combat and the story is decent. Also, I feel as if the Dante in this game isn't really a bad protagonist.

I finally finished this game today. The fight with Vergil was tough but fun. I think I died about five times before I beat him. It was satisfying to win. Overall, I really liked this game. The combat was fun and the characters were alright. I'm interested in playing the other games.

Did you play the Definitive version? It's closer to the original games than the vanilla one.

Ah, it'll be a bit of a bigger change then. If you can get your hands on a remastered version of 3, I recommend that.
