...Why? Persona isn't popular enough to miss out on a significant number of sales because of console exclusivity. The most popular entry in the entire Mega Ten franchise (Persona 1 for the PSX) only barely broke a million in its home country, and P5 won't beat that.
I think Chariot's just bemoaning the classical gamer pain of "I really want to play a game but I don't have the console to play it on!"
I can relate- My PS TV was a very recent gift, and I only got it because it was significantly discounted for containing a now-voided code for DLC to the Lego Movie game.
I sure said that! They could shift Persona to the Nintendo handhelds but I doubt the fan base would like that. They got annoyed enough at Q and SMT 4 being 3DS exclusive. I get the impression Atlus decided that Sony can have Persona while Nintendo gets SMT.
Same, I played the game as I normally do and got the trophy on my first try.
The Vita only flopped on its Western release, but it's doing great in Japan. I'm still surprised Steins;Gate was out for the Vita and PS 3.
Get a Vita if you're more into eastern games/visual novels/niche stuff and want a console that can last on standby for days. When the battery drains, once you boot it up you can resume as normal.
It seems like console loyalty at a first glance, but I don't think that's the issue here. The only difference is dual and single screens over the 3ds and vita — I don't know how it would pan out if Persona 4 got dual screens. Its the preference of the developer if they'd prefer one or two screens to work with, and how they'd implement the port without changing way too much content as it already as it is. They reused graphics is one issue, too.
One screen is enough. Since Q wasn't a remake unlike P 4 G, they have the flexibility to implement dual screens.
I blazed the game fast enough on my first run, so I didn't get the trophy.

Tales of Berseria - BurnEr... since Q was an Etrian Odyssey game, it needed both screens for the mapping mechanic. EO without mapping is not much fun.
Saying Persona Q is a Etrian Odyssey game is like saying Dancing All Night is a Project Diva game. It's in the style, shares developers and mechanics, etc, but claiming they are flat out completely the same thing is kinda pedantic. I think "stylistic crossover" would be closer, but whatever.
Any, you missed the point of what she was saying. Q was made from the ground up for the 3DS (even if based on EO), it isn't a port or anything.
(Also, EO without the mapping on the lower screen is pretty much Wizardy or Elminage, isn't it?)

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Correction: Mapping without access to a functional touchscreen is not fun.
I've played an EO knockoff that didn't have mapping control. The game was ok, but I spent all my time wishing that I could control how the maps work.
On the other hand, it had a 'go-to' function that EO doesn't have, so give and take, I guess.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. The touchscreen is infinitely preferable to the old graph paper method, at least.
I sure said that!I actually played a port of a game originally from the PSP that has a consumable map, which comes in over stacks of nine. I used Google Spreadsheets or memorizing the area with different traps and teleportation, till there was a way to hack it. Then, the remakes and newer games of the series are now released on the DS and 3DS.
I think mapping may work on the vita by bringing up when needed and drawing on it, then showing a smaller version of it on the screen, but it's not as convenient as using the 3DS. Otherarrow's gotten what I'm trying to say, though, that that they chose to use the 3DS as a platform instead of the Vita but P4 is a port. I mean, it's a wide touchscreen console? I have trouble imagining how P4 would be on a 3DS.

Tales of Berseria - BurnDidn't Ultimax get a patch? Is that ever coming to consoles?
P5 Trailer 2. Ignore the video title and watch it before Atlus finds out the uploader went with a different title and take the video down.

Well, this is going in interesting directions, even if it's not anything we didn't already know about.
There seems to be some kind of warped timespace thing going on that leads to normal people turning into buff Shadows and then demons, signified- Maybe?- By cherry petals in the air?
No different-each-day element- No moon phases, no weather- Though it presumably still runs like usual on a calendar.
I wonder why the Phantom was trying to tear the mask off a Shadow in one of those shots- Maybe that reverses the transformation?
Blue-hair painter strikes me as a major antagonist of some kind, but who knows this early on.
I sure said that!Considering they go Chester Buster at some point, I imagine tearing the mask off might kill them before that happens.
I hope it's something of a timer where you have to defeat shadows fast enough or out pop demons that are stronger than them with full health.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. So ... are those guards people who turn into shadows, or shadows pretending to be people?
It looks likely that they'll be relying a lot heavier on anime cutscenes this time. I suppose P 4 G would have been an indication.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I mean, that's kinda hard to say- P3 has people turning into Shadows, and the crux of the last month of P4 is a threat of everyone turning into Shadows, so yeah, it's probably that the guards show up and whatever it is that's causing problems is turning them into Shadows with demonic chest-bursters inside.
Considering the first three Persona games and the SMT series as a whole, that actually makes perfect sense.

I sure said that!Atlus loves making people sweat about their game's infomation at least XV got a release window now.
What are you taking about I thought that was a nice video about microeconomics.

Mileena Madnesslol that title
That's what I would expect too; maybe we get more character Shadows too?

Never knew Microeconomics was so interesting.
One Strip! One Strip! And given what is seen in 1:06, it seems like there are stealth elements in the game.
I was thinking more action-adventure with stealth elements, myself, but yeah.
I sure said that!...Why are you guys acting like this is new when this exact trailer was posted in the thread over a month ago?
... Because my memory fails me all the time?
I sure said that!Because that trailer was taken down super quickly by Atlus ninjas.
I'm still mad that the mainline Persona games are limited to Sony systems while spinoffs can be on other systems. The series really needs to branch out to multiple platforms.
