Kinzoku Hohei (Metal Infantry)/Armored Suits
Invented by Yuan Liao for various purposes, from construction work to military purposes, although it was was rejected in favor of Tabane Shinonono's Infinite Stratos powersuits after the White Knight Incident. In October of 2016, the Japanese government reconsidered and approved of Liao's invention in order to have a new weapon that wouldn't be bound by any treaty. After a seven-day war with China at the Senkaku Islands which China started in order to test Japan's new weapon, nearly every country uses an Armored Suit.

Technical and historical notes:
Built to replace the KH-01 Ashigaru Ichishiki (Type 1)/Grunt I. It is less consuming of power than the Ashigaru Ichishiki/Grunt I due to it's smaller wheels, but can carry as many weapons as the Ashigaru Ichishiki. It is the standard Kinzoku Hohei of the Japanese Defense Forces and Japanese Foreign Forces, though various countries have acquired Ashigarus through deals with Kakizaki Zaibatsu.

Due to circumstances surrounding them, they were separated, and while Mikuni knew of the engagement, Ichika did not. When they met again, both of whom are sixteen years old, with Ichika having blond hair and a beard for some mysterious reason. After a long explanation, mainly involving Phantom Task, Ryuzan and her father Kamezan agreeing to the marriage once more, and to make sure the marriage is valid, Ichika takes on the alias Daremo Nomura and claims to be 35 years old. Good with a naginata since age seven and as well with Aikido. Also fairly good with firearms, namely a Nanbu pistol, a C96/Type 17 "Broomhandle" and a Single Army Action Revolver, and when occasionally with the Band of Eight, she uses a Dragunov sniper rifle to provide covering fire for Daremo/Ichika and his comrades. Currently works for Kakizaki as a bodyguard and Mikuni's lady-in-waiting. Rumors say she's a kunoichi from a ninja village.

Very overprotective of his family due to acquiring a scar when Phantom Task agents killed Ichiro on December 24, 2016, in a bombing attempt, with Tsutomu unable to protect him. Misfortune came upon as she was forced into prostitution by her school, Sumireyama Gakuen, on whose Student Council she serves as Student Council President in. After Yusuke and Ichika rescued her, and used her memories as proof that the forced prostitution was used as a way to fund another terrorist group plotting against Sawamura and the Emperor. After losing Yusuke to a retaliation attempt by the very terrorists that used her as a sex object, she pretended to be a Nihon Gaigoku-gun soldier to exact revenge. She then dies protecting Ichika during the purges, with her last words being "Live... for Yusu... ke-sa... ma's sak... e."
