Perhaps this version contains the "renovated" hi-def tracks? Or maybe it's a better version that doesn't have the sound effects like the old one did.

Or perhaps this is just people discovering this for the first time and thinking it's novel, even though it's been available for a good long while.

Ah well. I'm downloading the new version as we type and will report on my findings as soon as my slow Internet gets it all.

REPORT: It is the exact same soundtrack it always was. No quality boost, and including the unecessary sound effects. Sigh. Is it so bad to want a version of "Unacceptable Losses" that doesn't have the jangly armor sounds in it?

Ah, the same idea came to me I already downloaded it myself hoping it was scrubbed up, oh well.

I never did totally beat this game even though I have the PS 2 copy.

I should probably download the HD version for my PS 3. Better "do-dads and what have you's" am I right?

You really expected a HD version of the music? Why?

...Because game reports have stated some of the music got a quality boost in the HD port, and since several sites made a to-do about the soundtrack being available only recently, one would have to wonder what made it different now since the soundtrack has been available for a while?

Just purchased the HD version, my first time BTW.

There's definitely a clunky feel to the controls and the camera is sometimes too close to Jade for me to see much, but I'm still liking it.

Th completionist in me is going to be addicted to photoing all the animals. [lol]

I'm honestly starting to wonder what the port did to the camera, because while I definitely know it to be a little willful, I've never had that many problems with it. Or maybe years of 3D platformers have just dulled my senses to really bad cameras. [lol]

The camera does get annoying at times when you're fighting especially. However I'm still very much enjoying this game. It reminds me a bit of Rayman 2, which isn't surprising considering it's from the same guy. The music is well done too. Jade's acting sometimes sounds really stiff though.

I'LL GIVE YOU A SUNNY SMILE.

The only line any main character says in this game that makes me cringe is one later, though I doubt it counts as a spoiler: "This will help us find those that have disappeared!" :B Some of the side-characters are definitely cheesy, though.

Spanish Bar is so good. Also, I didn't think I'd even win that pseudo-air hockey mini-game. It seems kind of luck based sometimes.

A bunch of people with varying degrees of Spanish knowledge and too much free time. They're on the Trivia page for this game, and were assemble by myself and a couple others to the best of our ability.

We figure they're pretty correct, because they actually make sense given where they show up (the races).

Beat the game with all Pearls.cool

Still missing a full reel of the animals(I thought space whale would be the last) and 2 or so Discs.

It was pretty satisfying.

Is the HD version still on XBL? Any news on when it comes to PSN?

'Course it's still on XBL. It's not like they put an "end distribution" date on it, and even if they did, doubtful it would be so close to release. It is still available, yes.

Recent word is, PSN version will be available sometime in May.

Holy cow, my*

crack team* actually got most of the lyrics to "Fun and Mini-Games" right! Although it appears I may have screwed up on the chorus, given the song was about racing, you can't blame me for thinking "four wheels of the sun" would be an appropriate line.

...Hmm, that seems to be an older interview, but I've never seen it before, and I've traveled across that site (despite it being in French) a number of times. I see things with my eyeseers good.
