Isn't this the one with multiple incarnations of Michael Jordan?

Yeah, and other NBA legends. (Video shows Dominique Wilkins in action with his signature slam.)

Interesting. I never did play after 2k7, due to lack of a console and computing power. Do the PC versions still have dedicated roster updaters?

This is an uber case of The Computer Is a Cheating Bastard.

I'm going to eviscerate the game in my review, and reviewers who apparently spent one hour playing the game.

Updates to NBA 2K13.

Color me guardedly excited.

So far I'm really enjoying the MyPlayer mode of 2K16. The high school games really sound like HS games.

Today I completed my first season in NBA 2 K 18. The Boston Celtics were the 5th seed in the East, losing to the 76ers in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals in 5 games.

When you start your career, practicallly every new game has some new element to your story. I found it kind of odd how at one point (around January or February) the story elements just seem to stop. After this point in January or February, you just go to the arena, play the game and leave. You no longer interact backstage with your mentor teammate (I think his name is Shammy), Booboo (head of security), Hannah (Public Relations), or your annoying roomate. Occasionally you talk on the court with fictional members of the other team (in my game it was with fictional players on the Suns and the Nets). I assume the backstage interactions resume in the second season.

Playing the game is fine. It took me a while to get used to shooting the ball. I wish you could just press a button to shoot and didn’t have to worry about a range where you press too early or too late. It’s annoying how bad internet connection disrupts your game even though you’re in one-player mode against the computer.

I can’t wait to start my second season with the Celtics in October... well, I could start right now but I’m not going to.

Do you actually watch the ”NBA 2 K TV” segments when your game is loading? I just watch it until my game is 100% loaded and move on to the game. Likewise I rarely watch the pre-game segments with the guys from “The NBA On TNT”.

No, Mr. Bunker, "this here" is justice

We're now at 2K20 and apparently there's very real gambling involved?

And this blatant gambling BS that 2K is pulling with NBA 2K20 is so obvious, you don't even need neon signs to show it. The UK knows this. We know this.

And yet the ESRB and PEGI don't seem so concerned.

Isn't there going to be a point in the future (near or otherwise) when the government will step in and blast the ESRB and PEGI into kingdom come for taking some responsibility?
