BTW, anyone else catch that description of one of the new characters describing her as the king's illegitimate daughter and his mistress?

All the Mafia heads are illegitimate parts of the royal family. It whys they all have the same scar. The two men are Nasubi half brothers and illegitimate children of the last king, while the other is one of Nasubi's illegitimate daughters.

And what was meant by and his mistress, was that she was the illegitimate child of his mistress and him. Not that she is his mistress.

I was not expecting an illegitimate child to get roped into the succession war. She seems pretty interesting though.

When the one guy vanished and then showed up dead I was yelling at the troupe about forgetting Hisoka's texture surprise. But it looks like it's an entirely different ability.

I like that they mostly seem to be splitting into groups. None of that "split up so he can pick us off one by one" bullshit. Well, probably.

I thought the same thing.

The Troupe don't know about Hisoka's Texture Surprise ability. He never told them, and keeps it secret as his ultimate trump card. Even Machi, who's seen it firsthand, just thinks it's a way for him to hide his wounds in battle. None of them know its full extent.

If the princes have issues with the spiders why not kill them rather than hunt down Hisoka?

Maybe because killing 1 guy is easier than killing 13 guys.

And one of them knows their reputation well enough that he likely figures the cost would outweigh the benefit.

Plus having fanboys of them in each family means sabotage from underlings is probable.

Even Omnicidal Maniac Jesus Girl has a fanboy amongst her Elite Mook.

They should have an idea about Texture Surprise considering how he created that fake fortune.

I don't think they ever found out that that fortune was fake.

Paku transferred all of her memories about the event to them. Chrollo also personally saw him throw off the spider tattoo.

And did she see that fake fortune or hear about it?

Yes she was the only one who knows about Texture surprise, but she thinks it's just an ability to hide his wounds. She did not know the full scope.

I figure they know about Texture Surprise considering how they've been on the lookout for any person matching Hisoka's height.

Yes, Paku did hear about the fortune being fake. Hisoka himself admitted it.

What that does not say is how Hisoka was able to fake the fortune.

Yeah, Hisoka has never fully revealed his trick to anyone, as far as I know. He's a magician, after all.

You know, I've read through this entire thread and I was a bit surprised to see these questions asked, so I'll ask them: If you could choice a nen-type for yourself, which would it be? And if you couldn't choice, which type do you think your personality naturally lends itself too?

Any hypothetical abilities you might want to make up optional to the questions.

I'd probably be a Conjurer type, since I'm a lazy jerk who would be naturally inclined to just make something to do the heavy lifting for me.

Thats more in Emission then Conjuration. Cojuration tends more towards objects, while Emission creates constructs.

No, M84 had it right. Conjuration is for creating to solid, material things.
