CoroCoro leaked. All we got from it is that Japan is getting Shiny Xerneas and Bacon Bird.

New Sugimori art for both, though.

On one hand, I'm getting real anxious for Z now. I need some good Nintendo news. On the other hand, they know CoroCoro leaks all the time, so they're probably not going to have any big reveals there any more. So we can still get a random video at any time like with ORAS.

Posting here, hope replays are back before it expires. Just in case pastebin I was just confounded by what this guy was doing.

CoroCoro leaks have been a thing for years. I highly doubt they're just going to stop announcing stuff through it just now.

Also, it leaks like, four days in advance. It's not that big a deal to be worth worrying about.

Besides the fact that in this case, "leaking" is not the same as when someone posts confidential information about a game in development. When a magazine leaks, it just means that it's hitting shelves ahead of its street date.

I already have a near-perfect Rayquaza and I just reset the Shiny event Rayquaza with an Attack IV of 2, a Special Attack IV of 5, and a Speed IV of 5. Should I keep it for the LOLZ and chuck it on Wonder Trade or is Shiny Mega Rayquaza too awesome to pass off as a joke?

Would it be useful/fitting if Solrock and Lunatone got Drought and Cloud Nine as hidden abilities, respectively?

They usually don't announce games through Corocoro though, now that I think about it. It'll be during an event, or a direct, or whatever that Pokemon show is called.

The thing that bugs me the most about this is why and how Giovanni has the authority to create a new official badge, especially considering he already has authority over the Earthbadge. Why's the League okay with this? Badges aren't just macguffins that you get because they're cool, they're marks of rank and certification. You can't just make them up.

Here I go analysing the Pokemon musical and its incongruency with established Pokemon canon.

I mean technically I guess he lost the title of Gym Leader when [PROTAGONIST] outed him as the head of Team Rocket, but then that would mean he'd have even less authority to just make a new badge.

Why some Pokemon hard counter some strategies.

Scum Sigilyph can't do squat against Dark types.

It can burn them, but will probably lose the ability to do it more than once if it loses the Flame Orb to Knock Off.

True, it can burn them. Houndoom'd stop it in its tracks, though. Probably best to Taunt it to stop it Roosting. A Dark type team not carrying Taunt deserves to lose, frankly.

C'mon, nothing on whether I should keep the Shiny Rayquaza with offense IV's of 3, 5, and 5 and just chuck it onto Wonder Trade for a laugh or reset for something better because Shiny Rayquaza deserves better than to just be a joke?

Personally I'd keep it. A Rayquaza's a Rayquaza.

I was the one on the receiving end of the bad luck, and don't forfeit unless victory is literally impossible and would take over a dozen turns.

Ah. Well, Wonder Trade maybe. Some kid will probably be really happy to have it.
