Fun fact: Lugia's offensive stats are exactly the same as Raichu's.
Fun Fact: Lugia is just as fast as Raichu from Generation VI and on.
Hence offensive stats, 90/90/110.
That's oddly low considering its BST.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elsenot especially, considering that lugia's known for being a more defensive Pokemon. It has 106/130/154 defenses, which is way bulkier than Raichu who's at a pretty underwhelming 60/55/80 in comparison.
They are its lower stats; Lugia and Ho-Oh (and Mewtwo) have a 106/154/130/110/90/90 spread, with different stats being the ones that get each number. So, all 3 of them have 106 HP, but the rest fluctuates and makes for 3 quite different Pokemon (well, Lugia and Ho-Oh both have Sp Def as their highest stat, and Mewtwo and Ho-Oh both have Defense as one of their lowest stats).
Box legends always have one or two stats below 100 (or even 3 in some cases, but that means they have 2 or 3 stats through the roof, as seen in Rayquaza, Kyurem, Xerneas and Yveltal).
Well, it's known for being defensive because of its crazy high defenses and Multiscale, but its Pokedex entries make it sound like it should have at least 120 Sp Att.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI never got that impression since It's incredibly powerful defensively.
Well, it hits as hard as Articuno or Suicune, anyway, while taking hits better and being faster.
On a side note, I'd be amused if in one of the Mystery Dungeon games Lugia or Ho-Oh aknowledged Mewtwo of being comparable to them in terms of sheer power.

Yet it only has the offensive stats of Raichu?

I'd say Aeroblast is a pretty strong move, which it technically is, but it's beat out by Hurricane in terms of base power, even if the former is 25% more accurate.

Meh. Still powerful, just not in the way that looks obvious.
>implying Pokedex entries are not mostly bullshit
I couldn't conceive a dream so wet; your bongos make me congo. They're not though.
Keep in mind that you're comparing it to a mon that has to plant itself into the ground daily just so its own power doesn't go haywire.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyYes, I'm comparing a mon that has the ability to create a storm for more than a month accidentally to a mon that has a bit too much static electricity.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else100 with perfect accuracy is way better than 110 with 70%. Anyway, Lugia is ridiculously bulky. I asked around a while back, and the only two attacks in the game that can OHKO it are Choice Band max attack Rampardos' Mold Breaker Head Smash and Choice Specs Kyurem-White's Turboblaze Blizzard. Which you'll recognize as attacks so ludicrously powerful that they're complete overkill on anything else, and they have to nullify Multiscale to boot.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Life Orb Zekrom also has a high chance to OHKO.
252+ Atk Life Orb Teravolt Zekrom Bolt Strike vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Lugia: 406-478 (97.5 - 114.9%) — 87.5% chance to OHKO
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Also counts as overkill, and it targets its weaker defensive stat, and with a flavored Mold Breaker.
It's not that much overkill. Lugia tends to invest in Defense over Special Defense, so the stuff Ninety Nine mentioned are technically hitting the lower stat.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I stand corrected. Still, those are super effective, high BP STA Bs from mons with bonkers offensive stats, boosting items and abilities that nullify Multiscale.
(and just Ninety is fine :3 )
Lost, even though absurd hax on my side, but fun nonetheless.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I will always be kinda fascinated by how the Johto box legends don't match appearances and stats much.
Ho-oh's better offensive stat is Attack! And Special Defense is its best stat overall!
I sure said that!
I've seen some Pokemon video (strangely enough, mostly Nuzlocke) and I have noticed a difference between me and Let's Player.
They sure spend a lot of their money on items. Because of that, they trend to have little to no money left.
I only spend if I really need items badly because I want to reach the maximum cash limit. I never did outside of Pokemon Platinum.
