Yeah, I was sorely disappointed by this. Also, sticking an ad for their channel in the middle of the video was bullshit. They seem like they're trying to fix what isn't broken with all the animated interludes and stuff.

I wish there was some way to get them to listen, to understand how awful the non-intro cartoons are. Judging from their Facebook page they're in denial about their cartoons and don't want to be argued with.

Have to agree the cartoons aren't that good. But the actual gameplay commentary was funnier than last time at least.

Today's (Saints Row The Third) was pretty great. Even kept the cartoons to a minimum.

YES. This was the best one of the season so far hands-down XD

It helps that the game itself seems to be completely insane, too.

I'm playing Soul Calibur V with Pat right now.

I lost a lot. Only won one match, and it was against someone else in the room.

But, Pat complimented the M. Bison I made.

On their Facebook page, he put up a status telling everyone to post their gamertags if they wanted to play SCV. I posted mine and got online, where a friend request was waiting for me (not sure if I should say what his gamertag was since he probably doesn't wanna get spammed). I accepted, he sent me an invite to a room with three other guys (also from facebook, I assume) and we all played for a while. I thought it was for a recording but he was talking with us, so I guess he just felt like playing.

He deleted the status afterward, probably so it wouldn't get flooded with people posting their gamertags.

Astaroth and Nightmare for the most part. He's crazy good with both.

TBFP: Beatdown: Fists of vengeance

Starts out slow but eventually becomes HILARIOUS, especially near the end.

...where the hell do they FIND these games? What the...? We have a TROPE PAGE for this? Was this well known?

Also, say what you will about the animated clips, but googly eyed Matt makes me chuckle every time.

That was odd. But hey, at least they got rid of the cartoons.

That was actually the best episode of this season so far.

H8ter Fistin8tor makes me sad for humanity in general.

However, that Big Boss character was pretty well made.

I have seen more characters like H8r Fistin8r's than I'd care to admit.

Big Boss was cool though. I might make that for the slot I deleted (though I already have two Devil Jins...Akuma and Equius)

They actually made Soul Calibur 5 look good, though...

I really liked this one, though I wish they had also played the N64 Spider-Man game (I can't remember what it was called). That thing was out there.

Funniest one of the season so far. Everything after Constipated!Spider-man, I was dead.
