I enjoyed watching it when it first came out and I rewatched it when it came on Netflix and while I still largely enjoyed the quality, I discovered that I honestly find most of the characters to be insufferable.
Freddy is a total moron outside of traps, Shaggy and Scobby's cowardice and gluttony are turned Up To Eleven with Shaggy also being kinda stupid and Scobby becoming a jealous ex, Velma I found to be just plain unpleasant (and she's usually my favorite of the five). Then there's the townsfolk who are different flavors of corrupt, callous and dumb. I think Daphne ended up being the most likable outside of her pining for a complete dunderhead.
