Hanataro...Is that squad 4 member that befriended Ichigo's group because other shinigamis discrimnated him for being from the healing squad?

But mainly because he was serving Rukia when she was being kept in the sixth squad's prison, and decided she was so kind that he had to help Ichigo once he realised Ichigo was trying to save her. Thanks to the highly convenient coincidence of him being forced into contact with Ichigo long enough to find this out—and the equally convenient revelation that he knows all the super-fast short-cut tunnel routes underneath the city that only the fourth division knows about. And, just to add more convenience, he just happens to be running around with shinten and have the ability to swipe keys from prison guards.
Plot convenience is Hanataro's secret power.

◊ accurate? I'm curious about if the Quincy thing is a retcon, since I kinda remember them being just empowered humans who had a certain technique to gather energy. A friend also mentioned to me that Ichigo deriving his energy from his inner hollow was incorrect because thats not how hollows or spirit energy work.

That part about hollows is a theory or it is canon? I always thought hollows becoming monsters was because losing their heart makes they lose control of their spiritual body and mind, not that they gain a power and become crazy because of that.

I am still confused about how Asauchi are Shinigami souls welded together and somehow this makes a sword.
Like where did Oetsu get enough Shinigami souls to make Asauchi for every Shinigami? Do the RG have a way of catching Shinigami's souls that die and then use them to make asauchi?

Shinigami don't retire remember...
Asauchi are Hollows and there is no shortage of those to gather up, blend and blank out.
Although you can probably make a Hollow out of a Shinigami or even regular Rukongai citizens, given that they are still souls, but there's really no necessity.
No, it's not accurate. It's fine as someone's personal interpretation of the story, but it makes big assumptions and outright contradicts the manga in places.

He didn't even know what Pernida could do and threw his sword on instinct as a result as well.
Way smarter than Kenpachi, though Pernida has regeneration so he would have stood up eventually.
