Crowner's been running long enough to call.
I didn't write any of that.So either the note about examples is the only thing anyone agreed upon (it's been added already), or there was an agreement to use Roxor's sandbox version.
I assume moving sandbox content to the live page is similar to moving a page. I can do that, put all existing examples in an Unsorted folder, and start a Special Efforts thread for sorting them.
Should I do this or not?
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.OK, just to move it along again, I'd say to go use Arcades Sabboth's idea so this shambling zombie can be put to rest or at least clocked in case there's no movement.

But... that wasn't an idea it was a question! I can't even tell what was decided on this thread. It's like there was no conclusion, they just wandered away mid-conversation.
Like the shambling zombie finally just fell apart before it got anywhere.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Sounds like it to me too, I'd say just do it anyway so we can lock this thread because it's been over a year now.
So, my understanding:
1. Replace the entire description with Roxor's version. (3-to-1 in favor is probably the closest this thread'll get to an opinion on that by now.)
2. Leave YMMV banner in place. (Crowner's been called on that.)
3. Leave image, quote, and treelo's examples note in place.
4. Move all examples to Unsorted folder.
5. Start Special Efforts thread to deal with examples.
6. Holler for a mod to put this thread out of its misery.
Good?

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Yup, see no issues with that.
1. done
2. done
3. done
4. done, though it isn't actually a folder. I don't know if I can stack folders inside bigger folders.
5. done. awaiting reactions...
6. Holler for a mod to put this thread out of its misery.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Looks good, except for one minor detail: DOS and Windows ports has been lumped together under in the folder labelled "PC". It's not an operating system. The section is even specifically named "Disastrous ports to PC operating systems". Operating Systems. Plural. Mac OS runs on the same hardware and it has its own section.
I'll get to work on dealing with this as best I can.
Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.Okay, there were a few entries which were unclear on which OS they were for, so I left them in a folder labelled "PC - Unspecified" in the hopes that someone more familiar with the works in question can sort them.
I also moved the obvious examples of badly-done PC versions of multi-platform releases to a folder in the "Disastrous versions of multi-platform releases" section. I hope I didn't miss any.

Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.The Special Efforts thread is launched. Hopefully this one will be closed shortly.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.
Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
Should we leave it the way it is now, or move Roxor's sandbox in? Sorting the actual examples could be moved to Special Efforts.
