The cube slowly vibrates... Almost like a snore.

He turns toward Mira, and looks forward the counter, terrified to meet the gaze of the elder kitsune, continuing to back toward the door, "Not... really."
He stops as Sasuke calls out to him, looking toward him, he's obviously been crying, "I'm sorry... I didn't know you were down here..." His voice is barely audible.
"I'm as free as the dust in the solar wind."

He looks toward her, meeting her eyes, surprised at get willingness to help him, before looking down again, "I don't know... maybe... it really all depends. Thank you though."

Her face becomes more solemn.
"You can tell me about it, if you want. I know it sounds cliche, but talking about it really does help.."

Tarou looks away. "I want to talk to you about something, too." He says. "But, I can wait my turn."

He comes over and sits a few stools away from Tarou, "Can I have your strongest drink? A lot of it..." He plops a small sack full of coins down on the counter, "As much as this can buy me."
He turns to Tarou, "It's about... us... I'm so sorry... You have every right to hate me."

She disappears into the hatch again.

Lelryth seems intrigued by talk of the strongest drink an watches curiously.
Aiko walks into the bar, and sits down, ordering a drink of beer.

Mira climbs out of the hatch again. She's holding a fairly large jug that seems rather old. She pours a small amount of the sake within into a cup and hands it over to Sasuke. The liquid only comes up to about halfway up the cup. (Keep in mind, sake cups are already pretty small.)
"This is the amount you can afford. It should be enough."
In truth, this sake has been called the Liver Destroyer by some. It was the first batch of sake Mira ever made. (That was safe to ingest.) It was normal sake at first, but it only grew more fearsome with age. (As alcohol tends to do.) Mira has carried it across mountains, forded rivers with it, and been through deserts with it at her side. Some people think it has gained magical qualities due to this. Now, if you have not been scared off yet, I (the author of Mira) will add one last thing.
It has been fermenting for nearly 700 years.
Sasuke should take care while drinking it.
Oh, and Mira hands Aiko a beer afterwards.

Sasuke lifts the cup to his lips, and sips a tiny amount of the Liver Destroyer sake. It burns with all the strength and intensity of a raging raging fire as it travels down into his stomach and his hair simultaneously stands on end and goes from fox red to platinum blonde. He drinks another sip, before accidentally crushing the tiny cup in his hand as he begins to sob quietly.

Lelryth dips their finger into the resulting tiny puddle of alcohol and then tastes it.

"Sasuke...I don't hate you." Tarou says, getting up to sit next to him. "I promise you that."

Sasuke stops crying, and tries to compose himself before looking over at Tarou, "You...don't? You seemed to be really upset when you left... I can understand why..."
He looks at the shattered glass and the spilled drink, "I'm very sorry... that was quite good..."

"Uh... Nah, it's fine. You seem like you needed to get that out."

Mira turns her head, seeming to hear Sasuke come down the stairs.
