This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

So I believe I've been spending enough time correcting my problems already. If you moderators still have any doubts about me, please let me know what else I should do, beside talking on the "Help with English" and the "Is This An Example?" threads.
I am sorry about the short entries, I had some internet troubles and a couple of the stories the author asked me to make pages about aren't up yet due Fanfiction.net troubles HE is having, so he asked me to wait before posting any links or anything (I had some real-life stuff to take care of as well, and it was late and I was tired). In fact, I was about to go and expand the articles when I discovered my edit block, so can you please remove it so I can correct my oversight?
I swear I'm going to put an example on every trope I add from now on if you let me edit again.
I was banned quite a while ago and don't currently know if I deserve my editing privileges back. Could you get back to me soon, please?

@Genius66: You did exactly what you were suspended for last time, apparently having not learned the lesson. We don't care if you "plan to fill in the stubs later"; you are breaking the rules, by all appearances deliberately. I'm sure that if these fanfics that you care about so much are important to anyone besides yourself, they can make proper articles for them.

PLEASE unblock me, the author managed to fix the problem (mostly anyway) and I cannot fix the problem if I you won't let me EDIT (sorry if I sound harsh, but I can get REALLY enthusiastic about my edits)!
I looked over the rules and am not entirely sure what I did, but I think I can guess. I do tend to be very verbose; it's always been a weakness of mine, ever since I was in school and regularly turned in rambling essays and term papers. I am also very detail-oriented, so often I will emphasize unimportant things more than necessary or even see things that aren't there. If I am allowed to edit again, I will do my best to be concise and less elitist and wonky in my posts.

Listen, I'm trying to be a cynic about the trailer, like Yahtzee is about E3. When I said "pre-generated", I meant cutscenes that have no gameplay in them, or whatever Yahtzee called them in his E3 review.

I don't fully understand what I did wrong but I was suspended recently. I've only ever tired to help with things like spelling and punctuation errors so I'm a bit confused. So if you'd be so kind, I would greatly appreciate the suspension on me being lifted at your earliest connivance. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
