You don't need a soul. You can just craft a new one.

Alternatively, you can buy them for red scrips.

Maybe I'll just farm some in the Painted World of Ariamis.

What are scrips and where do you get them?

Also, started (and finished) the HW Hildy stuff today. Pretty short compared to ARR. Was still funny and enjoyable, though. I can't believe he tanked Knights of the Round. I want Hildy to be my Tank in dungeons.

Scrips are a currency for crafters and gatherers to exchange for crafter/gatherer gear and materials. End game stuff.

Scrips are earned from Rowena's Splendours.

At roughly level 50-51, you can learn how to craft/gather collectables, which can be turned in at Rowena's for experience.

At around level 55, these turnins start yielding red scrips, which can be used to buy all sorts of crafting/gathering items.

I believe at 65 or 70, they now yield the endgame yellow scrips.

Also, I did Final Steps of Faith today. And I didn't die, much to my surprise.

It helps that I was a RDM and had Vercure.

The teaser site for "The Legend Returns" patch has been launched.

Looks like Rauhbaun may return to Ala Mhigo for good and leave his position in Ul'dah to Pipin.

The Prima Vista acting troupe is apparently gonna pull a Wandering Minstrel for our Ivalice raid framing device.

That's kind of disappointing.

It was already revealed that Garlemald had stories about Ivalice, so I don't get why this is a shocker now.

I'm on Stormblood! I just got flying in the Ruby Sea and also finished Briardien-quest.

on mobile so i cant link it but the trailer for 4.1 is out.

ivalice bosses are a few of the summons from ff12. Bangaa are also in cutscenes, specifically a cartain reoccurring antagoniat who hates the leading man.

I'm excited. I finished Stormblood yesterday, so I'm glad I'll be able to dive into the new patch soon.

Ready for those delicious Summoner and Scholar adjustments.

Also sad that while monk is perfectly balanced right now, Tackle Mastery is still terrible and should never have existed.

The cameo of Ba'gamman makes me wonder what his role will be.

people have noted that he appears to be holding an auracite stone at one point. Perhaps he will be the final boss of this first part, either summoning or transformed into an esper/scion/lucavi

Another thing, in the trailer during the story parts, is that there seems to be an allied Qiqirn when Lyse is speaking to a gathering of important ala mhigan people

There was a friendly Qurin (fuck spelling) in a side quest during Stormblood as well

maybe we'll actually see qiqirn beastmen quests and a qiqirn primal in 4.x

maybe 4.3 since the anata are the next tribe to appear most likely.

There's friendly Qirqin in Limsa Lominsa.

Two in the city, and a small outpost of them in the Outer La Noscea jungle.

yeah but they're never a major part of the story, unlike this qiqirn in the preview who is seemingly among other important ala mhigans, including an ananta

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say the qiqirn will be the second combat-related beast tribe in SB, with the ananta being the crafting one
