Disagreed that the M M3d boss is better. I just found it more tedious and frustrating. I do like the dungeon, though. The water puzzles are really clever.
The most common strategy I've seen (that I use myself) is pretty much what you described last page; shoot him with an arrow/Zora boomerangs when he's preparing to jump or charge into the platform, then dive down as a Zora and zap him while he's stunned.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobThe boss fights were the weakest parts of the original Majora's Mask, so I appreciate the remake's efforts to make them more interesting.
Twinmold in particular. The execution is a bit iffy, but I really like the idea behind the new fight.
Song of the Sirens3DS Twinmold is, in my opinion, the worst thing the entire Zelda series has ever done. A boss should not have awkward controls, sketchy hitboxes, difficult to figure out ways of damaging it, and most importantly, should not take 40 minutes. Seriously, from my first attempt to when I beat it on my second attempt, it took 40 minutes. I'm not sure the temple even took that long.
I found by far the easiest way to deal with original Gyorg was to stun him with boomerangs, hit him underwater as a Zora and then keep the electric barrier on as he inevitably tries to bite you as you get out, attack him again because he's stunned by that and repeat. The guy was a serious pain the first time but once I realized I had that to counter his bite it was really easy.
I'm rather curious about the boss changes in MM 3 D.
...but I also don't want to spoil every single one. Eh I can just watch Gyorg and Twinmold.
Ok. Watched a clip in order to fight Gyorg, but during the second phase he's not going near any mines, which means that by the time he starts sucking in water there's nothing for him to eat and he just gets me instead, which is really annoying.
Am I missing something?
Edit: Never mind. I got it. Just had to be more patient.

One Strip! One Strip! One trick for Gyorg is actually to return the stray fairies before you open the boss door. The double defence is super useful for that fight.

Song of the SirensI did that actually. Glad I did too. I might have died otherwise.
I knew that fight had changed from the original game, but wow, that one really changed.
I can only imagine what the Ikana canyon boss fight twill be like.
One Strip! One Strip!Well how about that?
The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (which is by driving distance from where I live) will host The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses for one day only on December 16th!
To anyone who managed to see it, is it worth it?

Right. So I've been checking out both the fishing houses and the the Swamp House Archery place.
I got the biggest quiver from the latter (so now I have 50 arrows) and will be going back to get the piece of heart.
I'm wondering if there are any prizes for getting good enough Fish in either of the Fishing houses? It's hard to remember really.
One Strip! One Strip!Get above 10 pounds as a kid and you get a Piece of Heart.
Get above 15 as an adult and you get the Golden Scale (which is just used to get you a Piece of Heart).
Unless you do this weird... glitch? If you do a certain thing as a kid, you can get the Golden Scale instead of the Piece of Heart. Means you can't 100% the game (i think) but you can mess around with the dungeon order a bit.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I remember watching a 100% speedrun of the game and there's apparently a way to glitch yourself a Piece of Heart. I can't recall why the runner needed to do it, but it might have been because of what you mentioned.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?If you ever find yourself asking "Why did they do that" during a speedrun, the answer is always "Because it's faster."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I think he actually screwed up a strat and the glitch was his backup (it was a GDQ marathon run).

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Yeah, I should have specified that I was talking about the Majora's Mask Fishing holes.
One Strip! One Strip! The fishing holes in Majora's Mask 3D weren't in the original version. There's no real reward for catching fish at them.
IIRC you can use the Fierce Deity Mask in them, which is their only novelty.
Song of the SirensYou can catch a baby version of Lord Jabu-Jabu, which is neato.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobIt aggravates me beyond reason that not one of BOTW's rivers flow to the ocean.
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonRealistic design is hard.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Hyrule's rivers have always ultimately flowed into Lake Hylia, tho.
EDIT: And it's just as well for that Zora lady in BOTW.

Song of the Sirens
Really? I'm looking forward to that then.
Can I just swim into him while using my electrical barrier? That's what I thought I was supposed to do in the original version of that fight, but I kept getting eaten.
