It looks like all six episodes are dropping at once. I honestly don’t have a problem with it this time, since it’s a miniseries and we don’t need to stress too hard about ratings and getting a season 2. I mean, I hope it does well, but I’m not gonna die if it doesn’t.

I think they know that putting it out all at once is gonna be the way the fans want to see it. Sonic 3 being far enough away helps them both if you ask me.
The show definitely does look like it's gonna pump up the world, as well as be a different pace—no pun intended haha—with Knuckles as the lead instead of Sonic.
I still think a stinger for the series is gonna introduce Rouge.

The streaming miniseries standard is about 40-50 minutes, but this seems to involve CG characters pretty heavily, so who knows?

Classic spin-off trope in that trailer:

I hope they put in a fun gag about Sonic and Tails not being around.
Like, they go off on a trip with Tom or something, and then halfway through he series someone wonders how they're doing and we get a cutaway to them in Casino Night Zone Las Vegas or something.
Sonic and Tails are a little too young for real-life casinos.

Finally saw the trailer and I really enjoyed it! It looks like this is going to be a fun series and I can't wait to see what kind of adventures Knuckles gets into this series!

I remember from some of the leaked titles the show will have some episodes set in Reno. I can imagine one set piece will be a recreation of the casino from Sonic Adventure.

Part of me wondered at first if Rory McCann was playing Robotnik's father on Knuckles. He's not that old though. Haha.
In fact, he's about seven years younger than Jim Carrey. Could theoretically play his brother maybe, but actual relation in the show? Probably not what they're going for.
Probably be a first trailer around when Knuckles fully come out. I wouldn't be surprised.
Inb4 he's playing a character named Richard Orbot or something.

Again, novice here who only saw the comedic animated show form the 90s and played Sonic 2 on my second cousin twice removed's old Sega with my brother when we were kids before the two new movies came out (and still need to see that epilogue short that was put out too). The show looks good. Rory McCann as the villain is a good choice of course and it looks like they're gonna keep having the same kind of fun they have been having.
As I said on the other thread too, as long as they quickly recap whatever big thing might happen on the show (release set for May) in the movie (release set for December) as well, they should be fine. Looks like with Knuckles & Sonic 3—see what I did there? haha, we're gonna have a fun-filled Sonic year.
