I thought this would be more about mashing two universes together. I suppose you could try that if you can't find a connection.

Steve is in Super Meat Boy.

Dr. Fetus from Meat Boy is an item in Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

Cards with Celeste characters are in the Binding of Isaac card game Four Souls Requiem.

Have you tried just making a crossover up, directly? I'd imagine that's even more fun than just looking for an existing connection. You know, create a shared universe where the two submitted universes interact

I would be using crossovers from the wikis and my knowledge to connect them.

You could challenge me to add something to the wikis, though.

I might try to add Omori to one of the wikis

I know one of the Pet Rocks is basically a reference to Sephiroth, The Maverick quotes Goku a few times and the "Download Window" fight is pretty much the Internet Explorer download window.
