If I remenber he replace Django mostly because he said people will go to the idea he cant die as he is the protagonist. So he move to warren who is more disposable to his "everyone shoot each other".

Likw Django is next o bastards his more white and black morality, sure is very edgy as hell but is clear Django is heroic, shiffting to warren who ended dying will be see as cop up of sure.

Eh, mind you, my take is that the Civil War and aftermath is certainly enough to make Django Darker and Edgier.
