The current mortal world map.

The new mortal world, known as Quedrands to its current inhabitants, has emerged from the fountain of creation. It is carried atop the back of a massive, albino, pterodactyl-like titan that moves as if in slow motion, called 'Leukippos' by the mortals of the world. Leukippos flys North in the orientation of the world, with its small magic sun following behind it. The sun moves back and forth in a semi-circle, both rising and setting in the South after climbing up to around the middle of the sky, in a 30 hour cycle. This makes the South of the world very warm, and the North of the world fairly cold. The change of seasons in Quedrands is very subdued, caused only by the sun slightly varying its distance from the world in a very predictable cycle of 130 days; in most areas the temperature stays close to the same year round.

Thanks for Arcellex, the world now has a new 'moon' that holds in the sky above, though is more of a shattered cloud than a solid object. At nighttime, pieces of crystalized magic fall from the moon to the world. Mortals that pick up the crystals can absorb them, and become imbued with magic power. In the North, these crystals become even stronger, due to the effects of the geyser of magic.

The Bakaal (004.015 for their 'capital'): An aquatic mortal race, looking like gulper eels with arms. Technically created by Ilkar, but do not worship him by name, as he did not tell them of himself. They are still in the stone age technologically, though have some shamans capable of subtle magic. At 005.015, a 'temple' was erected by Picoceles, which is in reality filled with cruel traps and guardians, just meant to torment the Bakaal.

Ebrinada Dynasty, followers of O'Keanu (005.019 for their capital, 006.020 for the monument O'Keanu raised, 003.017 for the moon shard Arcellex sent): An aquatic mortal race, with an appearance of shark-like humanoids with a long tail. They have a classical era, early Greco-Roman level of technology. Small settlements dot their territory, but the only settlement of any significance is the capital itself. Their rule is for the general good of their people, though is not especially benevolent. They currently worship O'Keanu by decree of their queen, though a small following of the goddess Theri has begun as well.

Samauth's fortress (006.016): A fortress in an active volcano, manned by Samauth's immortal followers. From there is held the connection to Samauth's realm, where mortal souls are naturally drawn to to be put into an appropriate afterlife. All the mortals of the world except for Nathan's humans currently do this.

Galius' Tunnelers (007.010): A race of reptilian, humanoid beings that live underground. They have unearthed what are allegedly ruins of a lost civilization that the gods were previously unaware of. These supposedly lost people were called the Crirtuti, and the Tunnelers have absorbed all their magitech knowledge.

Theri's Hiverfolk (011.006): A small population of 'humans' made from and with the properties of snow. They have taken the most naturally to the magic crystals, and many of them are now capable of impressive magic feats with the snow around them.

Stella's theater (011.011): A theater building of a 1920s style, where the goddess of revelry bids any and all visitors welcome free of charge. Endless booze of all kinds is served, and of course, as a theater, plays are put on every evening and night.

Picans' mountaintop fortress (013.007): Part lavish and opulent capital, part prison, this is the seat of power for the Picans, beings made by and who worship the god of time, Picoceles. It also contains a portal between it and the settlement of Theri's Hiverfolk.

Stella's fairy trees (013.018): A gathering of trees, roughly twenty or so, that house a population of winged fairy creatures, who can use magic to a pretty limited extent. They have no interest in keeping records and wouldn't be able to tell you anything about how old the world is. Stella now claims this land, and the fairies seem fairly happy with that. The fairies are, oddly, mostly incapable of using the magic crystals.

Geyser of magic, Galius' forge (012.004): A geyser spraying astral fire high into the atmosphere, where it catches on the currents and creates an aurora borealis kind of effect over the Northern parts of the world. Galius the forge god has created a forge around the geyser, currently allowing the astral fire to shoot up into the atmosphere. Previously the geyser was comprised of wild, raw magical energy, but it was converted to astral fire through the machinations of Arcellex.

Nathan's humans (016.016): A newly forming stone age civilization of humans, created by and worshiping Nathan. They have taken surprisingly naturally to the magic crystals, and some of them are now capable of potent pyromancy. This hex is also where Rav'nixander's city body presently is.

Icon's cottage (017.019): A small cottage in the mountains, made by Icon, flanked by the territory he's claimed. In the lake just West of there, he has added 'manta-cats' to the world.

Meowing's island (022.009): A new island that the goddess Meowing raised from the sea, and populated with woodland trees. It has a scattered population of wildlife thanks to the portals she has made from the island to other locations in the world.
