The problem with any statement about fandoms is that even small ones are bigger than one person can survey with ease, and they never speak with one voice.
However I could go with saying "The two fandoms have become more distant since Shadiversity changed the tone of his videos, making them appeal to different audiences." Including some indication of when the split happened would help avoid Examples Are Not Recent.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.

Because I've heard the one that existed between Skallagrim and Shadiversity has deteriorated over the last few years?
I'm not certain of the full details but I think it's due to Shad becoming more of a Caustic Critic while Skal has remained easygoing, but if anyone is aware of the full story that might be relevant to add to their trivia pages.
